Harris 4129 4" Mini Gloss & Emulsion Roller Set, Multi

What a handy item to have....During lockdown my wife decided to paint the kitchen ..... A lot of the wall space was just plain white walls but the gap between the ceiling and kitchen units would have meant leaning over the width of the worktops whilst holding paint.... No No .My wife saw this and ordered it and thinks it's wonderful as the tray fits neatly on top of the top units allowing the job to be completed safely... The roller is also small and just right for this small space.... The two rollers are great to ... My wife used the sponge roller on the handle attachment and it all looks lovely.... Great value for money ...Highly recommended

Review of Harris 4129 4-Inch Mini Gloss and Emulsion Roller Set.A very good little tool, as I expected with the Harris name on it.About 30 years ago I bought a Harris 9 inch roller set for putting emulsion on walls. When I bought it I also bought a spare roller sleeve so that when the original stared shedding or was clogged with dry paint I could change it and buy another spare. I always cleaned the roller properly and as a result I am still using the original roller sleeve. In case that makes you think I don't use it much, I normally decorate my home every four or five years like most people and I have also decorated a girlfriend's place more than once in those years, so yes the roller has been used. I also have a set of Harris brushes of a similar age that have been used for a lot of gloss and emulsion jobs over those years, and one of the three brushes has just started shedding the last time I used it.With this experience in mind when I wanted to try a mini roller instead of using brushes for edging and working behind radiators I wanted a Harris product. This time I decided not to buy any spare roller sleeves. So far this thing is living up to the expectations set by my previous Harris tools. I have used it a couple of times and found it really good for getting into corners and behind radiators. The finish it left was very smooth and even. I will be using it a lot over the next few weeks to redecorate yet again and so far it looks as if it may last the same way my other Harris painting tools have lasted. If that changes I will come back and edit my review.The reason for the four stars and not five is the paint try that came with it. It is too thin and so it flexes too much in use. I can get a better one in Poundland and will be doing so. I would not trust the rollers from the Poundland set as I am pretty sure they would shed, but the tray is much more substantial which surprised me.So in my view this Harris mini roller set is good value for money and very useful. My brushes will get less use in the future.

Tore during second gloss coat

Cheap and cheerful 4 inch roller pack. I tend to wrap them in a plastic bag whilst painting a room then throw them away after a room is finished. It's a bit wasteful so I have ordered some plastic inserts to fit inside. The roll was quite hard to fit on So I tapped it on the work surface to get it to lock into place.

Great little rollers. Simple to clean and roll an even stroke. Used these for my kitchen cabinet doors. Give a nice even smooth finish. Comfortable to hold aswell.

Je cherchais un petit rouleau pour peindre des meubles, ainsi que le bac correspondant. Le bac est assez solide, aux bonnes dimensions et le rouleau que j'ai utilisé pour l'instant (le rouleau à poils courts) ne consomme pas trop de peinture (ce qui peut arriver lorsque les poils du rouleau sont trop longs) et mine de rien, ça peut faire la différence entre l'achat d'un ou de deux pots de peinture... Je n'ai pas encore utilisé le rouleau pour peinture laquée, alors je vous laisse juge là dessus, mais je recommande ce lot pour les deux pièces que j'ai utilisé.

この値段ならば相当良いと思います。使いやすいですし、耐久性も思ったよりありそう。

屋根のペンキ塗り用で購入しましたがまだ使ってません。次回はちゃんと使ってペンキ塗りたいです。

4インチ幅はとても使いやすく、セットになっているので便利でしたが、ローラーの別売りが見つからなかったのがザンネン。
