Bluesky Gel Nail Polish, Silver Explosion 80573, Silver Glitter, 10 ml Long Lasting, Chip Resistant, 10 ml (Requires Drying Under UV LED Lamp)

In the photo, I am wearing this colour on all my nails, except my ring finger (the colour on my ring finger is Edelweiss, it and the diamantés are only available from the Bluesky limited edition Christmas gift set on Amazon). The Bluesky Silver Glitter Explosion, is probably one of the most beautiful of my purchases, the pictures don't do it justice. It sparkles like you have crushed diamond on your nails and really hits the light, my phone case has diamantés on, so Image the two together, so flashy. Application, I applied three coats of colour, I find this is standard with the glitter varnish, in order to get that perfect finish (it's better to apply three thin coats, then dollop the varnish on thickly). As it's winter, I recommend with all the glitter polishes to remember to seal the tip of the nail with top coat too, so the nails are smooth and not serrated with the glitter, you don't want holes in your tights! Or put tights on with gloves :) I found this out with the Midnight polish. This is a hit for me, my mum really wants me to do her's.

Brought this after being given a LED gel nail kit for my birthday. Was hoping for this Gel Polish colour to be sparkly enough to layer up or wear over the top of another colour.....and it didn't disappoint!!! It definitely lived up to my glitter standards. Its very fine silver glitter (with slightly larger holographic pieces) is sheer enough to layer over the top of another colour or build to have full on sparkle! The product is just as described (and would say the image is a good representation of the product, as I know it can be hard to tell colours from a small swatch.) Its well worth its price and having had Prime delivery, it arrived the next day. The gel set as expected under my LED lamp ( put under for 30's.) I have had the gel on for a few days and having cleaned my entire room as well as washing up (wearing gloves as I hear washing up liquid can damage the gel, causing it to peel) I have absolutely no chips, dents or peeling. Another plus is the image shows the bottle as fully black, which can be frustrating to tell the colour among other bottles. It arrived packaged with the main bottle colour as silver, making it quicker to identify! I fully recommend this product and Bluesky's base and top coat!

I sometimes choose to do a gel manicure on my fingernails instead of regular polish as it lasts a bit longer. I don't do it all the time though as I find the removal process a bit of a faff. I bought this silver really to do my toes but couldn't wait to try it and as I am having a luxury spa pedicure tomorrow I thought I'd try it out on my fingers!Obviously you need a bit of kit to use this nail varnish and I have a good lamp that is powerful so my nails tend to set well. The polish itself is super glittery, even, weirdly in the dark! I found two coats gave me the coverage I needed (it is still slightly clear) but very glittery. I think you can use this on its own or apply over a silver gel (probably one coat of glitter in that instance).I will update this review to inform how long it lasts but it feels good on day 2 and I think the lasting bit is in the application too so not all down to the polish itself. This is a super happy cheer you up colour that looks pretty on the nails.

When I first opened the bottle I was very impressed with how pigmented it looked! However, it will need around 3 coats of this alone to get full sparkle coverage like in the photo advertised, maybe 4? I have 2 coats of the glitter on my ring finger, it's alright.. but as aforementioned more needed for full coverage of nail! It is beautiful though! Thank you

Cannot stop staring at my hands, there's just so much glitter! This is 3 thin coats, but not on my natural nails. One coat is enough coverage but I wanted super sparkle. Would definitely recommend this polish. Haven't tested its staying power yet but every other bluesky polish I've used lasts up to 2 weeks, hoping this will too. Easy to apply, nice consistency, and the different sized glitter pieces layered up almost look holographic and are mesmerising!! Will be using this lots

This silver glitter gel nail polish adds a lovely 'pop' and sparkle to your nails. I haven't tried using it on it's own yet but it looks fab when used on top of other colours :)I'm definitely not the best at doing my own nails but it's cheaper than going to the nail salon every few weeks and it's good enough for me so I'm happy with my purchase, would definitely recommend.

I was after a silver glitter gel polish to wear with red polish at Christmas. I didn't want to spend a fortune but at the same time I wanted a polish that would not chip. This is such a gorgeous colour, only need two coats of it for it to look gorgeous and it's fairly long wearing, I wore it for about two weeks before it began to lift/chip. Not a bad product at all especially for the price.

I wanted a nice glitter gel polish... this had great reviews and was a good price. The polish is lovely but is not very thick so a lot of layers is needed to do the ring finger and still looks quite sparse. Lasts about a week. Overall, you get what you pay for so can't complain too much!
