I gifted this to my 6 yesr old daughter and she had so much fun painting and putting it together. Everything came in the box. All was packaged well and organized. The paint markers were a bit to get used to in the beginning because nothing would come out. Later we learned if you press down on the tip for a few second then it would be ready to use. I would highly recommend this for a child ebetween 4-13 years, but could work for older too!

Super cute came quick, larger then expected. Came with everything needed to grow your own little Terrarium. Came with blank little unicorns, Castle & rainbow & the acrylic paint pens needed to color them. Batteries not included with the fair lights, but that's ok! Super cute honesty think it makes a great gift! Ill update my review once we start growing!

My kids loved putting together and decorating this terrarium. It was so much fun and they were so happy to see the end result.

My 5 year old had lots of fun painting the castle, 2 unicorns, the rainbow, and watering the soil for planting the wheatgrass seeds.The seeds should sprout I. A coue days, wheatgrass grows super fast so we'll add a new picture later on.The only downside is I wish the top section had a cutout for the fairy lights that connect to the battery pack.It's a thin wire so not too disruptive to leave the batteries external.I wouldn't put the pack inside due to humidity and being able to turn on/off easily.Cool little terrarium for kids, and spending about an hour putting it all together!

This is a fun gift for young children to get a taste of gardening. They get to plant the seeds and lay out the rocks and figures to make it look pretty. Then they get to watch it grow and learn to maintain the terrarium, which is minimal but a steppingstone for future gardening endeavors. The kit pretty much comes with everything you need except batteries and water. It is easy to setup even for younger children with some adult supervision. Overall this is a great gift for budding gardeners.

This is what I would call a Fairy Garden kit, except its focus is on unicorns instead of fairies. The colors are bright and all the ingredients are quality. It's the perfect gift for young children to learn more about gardening. Once the wheatgrass is gone, other seeds can be planted in the reusable bowl. Very pleased with this kit for my granddaughter.
