Saccharomyces Boulardii Supplement - 90 Capsules – 5 Billion cfu with Olive Leaf, Biotin and Vitamin D - Highly Stable Friendly Yeast to Support Gut Bacteria Balance

My little boy has been taking it to fight Candida overgrowth after a number of antibiotics courses. A lot of trouble with oral thrush and bloating, reflux. He has been taking probiotics but only after introducing this yeast has the Candida problem managed to finally go away. As my boy is on prophylaxis antibiotics his gut flora needs constant re-balancing so I'll definitely stick to this product. One capsule 2-3 x a day seems enough for him, no less than 3 when we see the thrush coming back. Highly recommend.

I was advised to take s boulardii following a course of antibiotics which had caused unpleasant side/after-effects. After doing some research I decided to order from Troo Healthcare. Two weeks in I am feeling so much better, so obviously a good choice. I would also like to say that their Customer Service was excellent too. At checkout I had ticked the wrong box for delivery, and when I contacted them they dealt with it straight away and at no extra cost - well done Troo Health!

Having done some reading around (not just internet searches), I bought this as part of a series of personal experiments to find a combination of supplements that could help control my specific symptoms.These were: bloating and flatulence after eating, especially after lunch, often with cramp & pain in upper left abdomen, frequent passing of soft but not loose stools, general fatigue and low level headaches. I’m well aware this could be due to a range of potential causes, and I have sought medical advice.However, my concern has always been much less about cause than it is about solution. For me, personally (note: YMMV) the solution is to 1) restore and 2) maintain the balance of flora in my gut. This product appears to help in both regards, especially when used in conjunction with other supplements and probiotics. Far as I can tell after a month or so of use, there are no obvious side effects (again, that’s just my experience).I know just how much reviews can help in searching for answers, and I hope this has helped you. If there’s any advice I can offer, it’s simply to keep reading and follow the clinical evidence, not the celebrity endorsements or fad diets.The other products that help my symptoms include: 800mg Turmeric per day, Lactobacillus Acidophilus, with L. Rhamnosus & L.Casei. However, I’ve also made several dietary changes, so would suggest using supplements as part of a wholistic lifestyle strategy - with medical support. Didn't seem to work as well as the Optibac range, which is a shame as they're better priced!

After emergency surgery to remove my Gallbladder, my Surgeon recommended I buy Saccharomyces Boulardii to sort out my digestive system. I did what he recommended and must say that since I started taking these (2 per day) my "system" has never been better! I am now regular in going to the toilet and everything is back to normal, a situation I haven't "enjoyed" for years! I recommend Saccharomyces Boulardii for anyone who suffers from digestive and bowel problems.

I came to this after nothing else worked. Several courses of antibiotics had left me with IBS type symptoms, terrible stomach cramps whatever I ate and constant bloating. I’ve spent hundreds on high end probiotics (Renew Life, Blue Biotics, Biokult, Optibac) to name a few, and this is the ONLY thing that worked! I take 2-3 per day in total, before food...no problems since. Price is great too!

These do work. I need about 6 a day to help my IBS symptoms. However, these have rocketed in price by an extra £5 pet tub!! Extortionate! Not sure how such a huge mark up in price is justifiable. Will source an alternative supplier.UPDATE.Since sourcing another supplier I have realised how ineffective these were. I needed 6 -7 of these per day and still had some symptoms of IBS. The ones I now have are far more effective, I only need a maximum of 3 per day and all IBS symptoms have disappeared!

These were delivered within a couple of days of my order and fit neatly in the letterbox. I ordered these after researching probiotics to take while on a course of antibiotics and they really helped to settle the stomach during my treatment.I have just given the rest to my daughter who has just returned from a long trip in India!
