A little outdated, but nice on Kindle
This is a very light and interesting read. The Q&A format makes it a very easy reading, especially for younger space fans. All aspects of space (shuttle) flight are covered. My only issue is that it needs an updated edition. This is a 1995 book, and references about the "future" international space station sounds dated. Also some of the statistics could be brought up to date. The Kindle edition is well formatted, no problems here, and graphics ans pictures are preserved.Overall a 4 star reading for space enthusiasts.

The book is full of facts but honestly I think it's best for at least 12 years and older
I bought this after seeing it at EPCOT. I homeschool 2 kids ages 10, 12. The book is full of facts but honestly I think it's best for at least 12 years and older. very technical at times and my daughter gets lost.

A-OK!
Pretty darn funny at times, and serious at others. This is a list of questions that Col. Mike Mullane, a Space shuttle astronaut has been asked. Yes- you can see the Great Wall from space- along with lots of other man made artifacts. Mike talks about the suits, the disasters, the food and yes- how one goes to the bathroom in the shuttle.Hilarious and informative.

Exellent!
Tens of issues very well explained, tens questions answered. If one wants to know details of what space exploration is about, how it is done, who are the people involved, this is one of the books I would recommend to read.

Good Book
I enjoyed "Riding Rockets" which is one of retired astronaut Mike Mullane's other books and now I'm enjoying this one.I'll probably order one of his other books when I finish this one.

Like it is!
One of the more useful books on space and space flight. Straight and simple answers to the many questions that people have about going into space. Even though written prior to the launch of the international space station the information, like the weather, mostly holds true.

Interesting but.....
Book was bought for children doing space topic at school and have to say some of the answers are very wordy - even for me.Children have, however, found it interesting particularly how to use the toilet!!!!!!Fantastic quality for a 'used' book purchase.
