Good to connect in tub not in pipeline.
Simple mechanism. Plastic quality decent. Should have given two rubber washer for each piece. I bought it from hardware stores. Can handle the pressure from a bucket source of water and not able to handle from overhead tank.

Improvision
The cup side grip or stud should be stroy such that the water or fluid fills and auto cutoff due to spring action the slipping or removal of the cup from its socket should nt fall off.

Very useful but expensive
Useful product, it help to get clean water to chickens. Store 20 ltr bucket once so no need to change Or fill water. Easy to install I ll buy again

Works Great
I am reviewing it after 3 days of use. It's a good idea to lift the drinker to neck height of the chickens or else they might dash and detach the drinker. And it's also a good idea to use silicone sealant to seal the hole made for the drinker.
