Received all ok in time for xmas, shame the box had the full description on the outer packaging so be ready to receive it, if its a gift , then hide or wrap it quickly. I didnt use the supplied screws but used some stainless steel ones so I will have a chance of getting the hoop down in the years to come. The access to the screw holes is ok but a longer screwdriver would be advantageous as I found out. It is really a 2 person job to mount it to save you up & down a ladder all the time. The hoop is pretty sturdy and looks like it should stand the weather but time will tell. You need to lace the net to the hoop with a supplied long lace, not a problem if you start near the back stay rather han the rear bracket as suggested. This then holds the net in place rather than slipping round the hoop. Make sure its mounted away from windows to stop damaging your double glazing seals or away from anything breakable or simply buy a yellow sponge football size 5 from toysafari world wide also via amazon about £8.The official mounting height is 10ft which is pretty high while 7ft is a young junior height so mine went at about 8.5ft and this will allow him to grow and so I dont have to move it anytime soon. Poor design and difficult to fit - the bottom mounting holes are completely obstructed by the support bars - making it very difficult to get screw fastenings in the holes.The supplied wall plugs and screws are total rubbish, throw them away and use good quality items.The wall plugs just spin in the holes and the screw heads strip before being fully tight.Once fitted , it's fine for the price - but don't you just wish that the sellers would ensure that the item is fit for purpose, and properly manufactured.

Its good for the price but we had to go and buy different screws as it kept coming off the wall. The ball goes down very easy and we usually have to pump it up daily, my daughter doesn't seem to mind My man said 'it needs a backboard or it will ruin the render on the house, especially without decent screws' he went an bought some type of hook screw? Either way it's not moved since!

Buy this, soon you will be taking it down and sending it back, it is so flimsy and weak, that when the ball hits the rim, it bends the whole rim, I would pay a few £ more and save the labour.

Have to tie net to keep it in place as it kept sliding in to middle when ball went through net. Pleased with item though

I would give it no star if it were possible, The weight of ball that came with it bent it. Lasted all of 12 throws.

My grandchildren love playing with this basket ball set and it is quite robust. Happy with the cost & value of the toy.

Huge. Way too big for our little garden so going to give it as a present. Well worth the money and very sturdy
