Allocacoc PowerCube Extended Power Socket UK - 3 Metre(Non-USB) - Red/White

I've bought a bunch of these, to tidy up all the cablegami on the floor and to cat-proof our electrics. I've uploaded three pics: one of my PC desk (note the clutter-free area underneath), one of our coffee table (with two phones and a lamp), and one of our TV cabinet (with a TV, FreeSAT box and Blu-Ray player). The mere fact these cubes will attach to anything was their biggest draw for me. The included 3M sticky pads work great, but you can also screw them direct to the surface too - even upside-down! You don't get surge protection, but if you have an updated circuit and meter you shouldn't need it. They do emit a slight buzz, but it can't be heard from over 3ft away. I have a grey cube in my bedroom at that distance, and I have *very* sensitive hearing! If you find you need more sockets, just plug the blue extender cube in to the red or grey cube - as shown on my PC desktop picture. The sockets face all directions, so as you can see in the pics adapter blocks don't conflict with each other.

This is avery modern design on an extension socket which looks good and performs well.The device arrives very well packaged and like a lot of products these days you can tell that a lot of thought has gone into the packaging design - its almost like unpacking an Apple product.The cube itself is a bit bigger than I was expecting, being around 3" square, but I guess to pack the internal electronics inside this is to be expected and is still a lot smaller than a standard four way extension (and obviously this has the bonus five, not four, outlets).The only thing I don't like is that the power cable is quite thick and not very flexible - this makes laying the cube flat on a desk difficult as the cable will not lie flat and so tends to push the cube off the desk and into the air. I know if you were to use all five outlets at once you couldn't get the cube to lie flat anyway (unless you had a hole in your desk to drop the power cable through) but its something to point out as I wasn't expecting this. I have hidden the cube behind a monitor so its not a big issue and there is a supplied docking station that should help stick the cube to the desk (though this is at the expense of losing one of the power outlets).Overall I like this, its not much more expensive than a standard four way extension and is a nice modern design on an old idea - you can stack cubes together, though I haven't tried this yet and I will certainly look to purchase these in the future rather than the older designs.

this is above my expectations for a extension lead the actual build construction is heavy dense plastics and the 3m mains lead is strong thick cable easily 13amp with a solid heavy plug ~ the 5x UK 3 pin plug sockets are safe and stiff fitting a plug into the cube, so is no way will come easy looseVery impressed feels/ looks way better quality than imagined from the photos and reviews i see hereyes, will buy more when needed an easy decision

This is the third extension cube we've bought from this manufacturer, and we are very happy with the quality feel of the construction, it works perfectly for our needs. Will gradually replace all of the extension leads in our house with these as the cheaper inferior ones expire!

Is really versatile and can be used in such a lot of different ways. Really sturdy and well built. Probably giving the choice to have it with a metre or 2 more was going to suit everyone needs, but really happy after all.

No issues using all 5 sockets at once.But on this latest version it's a little difficult to use the sockets, as the safety guards aren't quite right. So it takes a little while to get plugs in.

Allocacoc PowerCube Extended 3 Metre UK Mains Power Socket - Red/White Fantastic product with superior build quality and design!I am very pleased with my purchase of the PowerCube, initially it was bought so I didn't have to carry around a plethora of travel adaptors for all my electrical devices. With this I only need to carry one and no longer need to worry about my electronics being without sufficient power.The product is small and practical, easy to store away into your luggage; for example in a shoe. I was concerned at first as to how well the device was built from the images but after delivery and surviving quite a few drops I am very satisfied in its structural integrity.I would definitely purchase again... Too bad that one is all you need ;)

I try to change the position of my powercube extendend power socket but The docking station it broke really easy an d now I can't use again, I would like to know if is possible to get a new docking station...
