This 1/4-inch, variable-speed die grinder from Makita features electronic speed control for constant speeds under load. The slender double-neck die-cast aluminum gear housing on this unit means easy handling. Its labyrinth construction, a complex series of channels, protects the bearings and motor from dust and debris for long tool life. A speed control dial means optimal speed for various materials. Makitas Super Joint System protects the gear, collet, and coupling by absorbing shock caused by accidental wheel lock. This unit is double insulated and includes a collet cone, and no. 13 and 19 wrenches.
