Q: Are these boots suitable for long walks. I do 4 miles a day with my dog?

Hi it’s a difficult question to ask as they are country boots and can definitely be worn all day but they are not walking boots nor are they waterproof but water resistant. Depends on your terrain. Hope this helps.

I too walk the dogs every day and bought these for that reason. They aren't waterproof and I found them uncomfortable. I sold mine. I personally wouldn't buy them again.

If of help, the size 5 measuring from the very bottom of the heel holding the tape measure straight, to the top of the boot is 18 ins. I'm 5 foot 3 and they sat at the base of my knee. The inside circumference of the very top of the boot is 37 cms. There are no zips at all but there is a very discreet and tough elastic section at the top which can increase the size a little. Foot size - I'm a 4 to 5 so a 5 is plenty good with thick socks, without thick socks they'd be a bit big. The ankle area of the boot is quite flexible and not snug or stiff, they lean towards a little bulky in this area if anything.

I can’t remember having this problem so I would think it must b uk size 4
