Fabulous
Bought because I make M & P soaps but this is a base which is suitable for those with skin problems. Absolutely fabulous.Yes you can see the oatmeal speckles through the Halloween soap colouring- love it, looks like there’s lurking loathsome things there.Excellent quality & it colours well - although I might say, slightly less orange than a plain white base using the same micas. It lathers ok, but obviously a little less than plain white or clear M&P base. Feels great though. Hands feel soft.It gave me the horrors reading some of the reviews on this ( marked as helpful!) - do people not do proper research? Please don’t add things like honey, fresh aloe vera, cinnamon etc to your M & P soaps. They will go mouldy. As for cinnamon - just don’t.For those who are new to M&P soap making - you have a duty of care towards others if you’re gifting - especially without a cosmetics licence - and also, if just using for self. Research / Google / there’s a lot of info out there.

great soap base
Easy to use, I first mixed it with vitamin E, olive oil, and aloe vera (got the gel from fresh aloe vera leaves). Then added ground coffee, or mint leaves, or lemon juice + lemon zest. Finally used these mixes with shellfish moulds, also used plastic cups as mould. Results are great. My hands are softer than before. Highly recommended!

Fab product
Fab product, but packaging was cracked and broken when received. Left oily mark on flooring.Product itself is just as described. Going to be lavender soap when I’m finished.

Already purchased more
This is my first time trying to make soaps at home and I am pleasantly surprised with the results of this melt and pour soap base, and how easy it is to use. It's very straight forward, but I would advise that if you are adding extra ingredients to your soap, then have everything ready and weighed out. Since this was an oatmeal and shea butter base, I added a few drops of honey and oatmeal fragrance oil, honey, oats and a sprinkle of cinnamon. The soap looked good enough to eat (though, don't do that!). It has a lovely creamy texture and lathers well. Very happy with it. I'm already planning to make the next batch and have just ordered 2 more packs of the oatmeal and shea. Also looking at other soap bases in the Stephenson range.

Easy to use
Soo incredibly easy to use. Such a great start to making handmade soaps at home. Shame it doesn’t have any soap recipes on the container to follow but all you have to do it melt the soap base and add whatever scent or toppings you want and pour into a mould to set for a few hours.

Simple way to make soap
I originally bought this to make soap as a present for my sister during lockdown. It was easy to make and I liked it so much myself I no longer buy liquid soaps. It lathers well and is so gentle I rarely need to use hand cream and even use it on my face. I take a bar on holiday, it can be carried in hand luggage, to use instead of shower gel.

Lovely luxurious soap base
This is my favourite of the melt and pour soaps in this collection. It is a great consistency and quite luxurious (I also like the goats milk but needed vegan alternative) and when I added glycerin layer in soap making it looks lovely. The packaging on one of the boxes was broken which seems to be a common complaint but the soap itself wasn’t affected by this.
