Scripture Candy, Jesus Our Greatest Blessing Christmas Tin, 4 Ounce Soft Peppermint Candy

My mom loves Jesus so this was a perfect gift this Christmas. She also loves peppermint candies. Two birds, one stone. Scripture and candies, great pair!

Seeing products that remind us of the true meaning of the season is so refreshing. A lot of times people forget what this time of year is all about and this is a great reminder!Not only are there verses on the tin, they are also on each candy wrapper. Some of them are somewhat cut off but you can usually get the gist of what they say. The tin is really cute and makes a great table centerpiece. The lid fits underneath so you can leave it open without misplacing the lid.As far as the candies, they aren't as soft as pillow mints but not nearly as hard as peppermint discs. Somewhere in between but closer to the pillow mint.Overall, this was a nice little tin of mints! Something that all Christians should have as part of their Christmas celebration!

I love the little Christmas tin these come in. After the mints are gone the tin will be the perfect size to store a bit of holiday fudge.The candy was good. I was expecting it to be a bit softer. It did get more chewable after you had sucked on it for a while. We do have old teeth and are not quite as adventurous with our chomping down on hard things as we used to be. They do eventually soften enough to chew. Having said that the flavor is delicious. I could even see crushing a couple of the candies up and mixing them into vanilla or chocolate ice cream.I am appreciative of the fact that at least 10% of all profits made by Scripture Candy, Inc. are given to Christian ministries.

The candy that came with this is ROCK hard and not edible. Very disappointing. I can replace the candy inside, but I expected to receive edible candy as advertised and one of the reasons I picked this item was because the candy included has scripture on the wrappers. Now I'll have to spend additional money to see if I can try to find other scripture candy in time for our event. Don't buy this!
