Great product and super quality - great value for money

Works perfectly fine, but it's not very deep so it's difficult to pick up large amounts of stuff from a board or to cut large amounts of dough

Obviously I don't actually mean that in case you're reading this Mr H.Very recently was watching a number of Paul Hollywood's bread making programs via YouTube and decided to buy one of his books and bread making. During some of these programs I noticed that he used a dough cutter, not only knives but a specific tool. So at checkout Amazon upsold me and showed me that other buyers had also bought a dough cutter at the same time as the book...so I added that to the basket.Two weeks after receiving it I've neither had the time to make bread and because of that, haven't used my cutter. So informing you of how good it is...can't do that. What I can tell you though is that the weight of the product and the build quality feels very good on both counts. Therefore I have no concerns that when it is used, it'll do exactly what it's designed to do and do it well.

This cutter really does rise to the occasion and is a cut above the rest. Its pretty cheap so even if you are living on the bread line you should be able to afford it.Anyway enough of the terrible pastry puns... I Have had this item for over 2 years now and I am very happy with the purchase. It has a good cutting edge and is very durable and easy to clean. The measuring marks on the edges are also useful when cutting pastry etc and is comfortable to use.One thing to be aware of, as others have also noted, is the corners are pretty sharp and could quite easily cause some damage and unintentionally incorporate a red tint to your dough!

This is a solid sturdy bench scraper. Sturdy handle and very well made. This is a must for bread makers. I also use this for pasta making too. Definitely recommend this.

Den Teigabschneider besitze ich erst seit kurzem.Lockere Hefeteige lassen sich hervorragend teilen, ohne das die Unterlage leidet. Selbst meine Silikonbackunterlage hat keine Spuren davon getragen.Die Verwendung für Rollteige ist hervorragend. Die Metallklinge (wobei sie unten nicht scharf ist wie ein Messer!) geht prima mit etwas Druck durch den Teig (Nusswellen legen etc). Es ist kein besonders großer Druck dafür erforderlich, da hier mit lockeren Hefeteigen eh gefühlvoll gearbeitet werden muss.Zum Teig auskratzen aus der Schüssel(übliche Haushaltsgröße 5 l) ist er zu groß und auch dafür zu sperrig.Die Arbeitsplatte lässt sich am Schluss gut und ohne Kratzer von evtl. Rückständen wie Mehl oder ggf. Teigresten verwenden.Das Metall lässt sich gut reinigen.Der Griff ist stabil und liegt für mich auch gut in der Hand; obwohl ich kleine Hände habe.Für Leute die gerne mit schweren Teigen, wie Brötchen, Hefe und Blätterteigen arbeiten ist er ein praktischer und guter Helfer.Teigteiler aus Plastik haben nun keine Chance für diese Teige mehr.
