Doctor's Best PepZin GI- Zinc-L-Carnosine Complex 120 Veggie Caps

I'm on the fence here and hence the 3 star rating. For years I have been on zole tablets for acid. I did a lot of research online and came close to subscribing tp one of those celebrity endorsed programmes for leaky gut syndrome. So I delved in to what the contents of the Medicines were and it seems that these tablets contain the lionshare of what these endorsed programmes say are best. So I started taking them 5 months in I only take the odd acid tablet here and there and not daily. At the same time I was quite ill and that is sorted now. So I can't so for sure these tablets helped it might be because the illness subsided. But they certainly did something I would say try them and see if they work for you rather than take my word for it. All bodies are different and react differently. We are unique.

On recommendation for my IBS symptoms I was told to take 1 tablet 20mins before a meal and try not to drink until 20after I being the pessimist thought ok I will try this as the cramps were getting worse and all I can say is it works the cramps have stopped I’m not running to the toilet after each meal and I don’t have to make sure there is a toilet nearby should I near it.From what I have been told is your body may not be making enough acid to break down the food you digest and this little miracle adds acid which helps to breakdown the food and my logic can understand that plus it’s non invasive and cannot harm my body so far it works a treat

To be honest I don't know what should I expect, I was told that zinc cartosine has strong anti inflamatory benefits, so I try it

I hope this review helps someone and because of the symptom relief, I feel I must share how helpful this had been. I have suffered from daily and varying degrees of stomach pain from (diagnosed by endoscopy) Gastritis and a duodenal ulcer for nearly 3 years. I would be woken up in the middle of the night and could not get back to sleep with gnawing stomach pain. Nothing seemed to help and I was reluctant to take Lansaprazole etc long term as it would not actually solve the problem. In desperation I read a few research papers on this supplement and bought some to try. I can honestly say that these tablets helped to the point where I am now pain free. You know when you forget that you had an illness as it has gone. It was like that, I suddenly realised that the daily pain had completely gone. I am happy about this to say the least. I also feel like my stomach has actually healed rather than the symptoms being masked. Definitely worth buying, I willKeep purchasing this. Incidentally, I took this daily at first but I do not need to take this daily any more. I will keep some in stock though just in case.

Helps with acid reflux

Easy swallow and not upset stomach

This is probably the best product for stomach upsets and symptoms associated with acidity. It is very effective. Highly recommended.

Have had erosive gastritis for 3 years now, usually well controlled, however, my consultant upped my painkillers for my Rheumatoid arthritis and for the last 2 weeks have felt sick all the time and brought up blood each night with reflux. Saw my GP who was no help accept to say I may now have an ulcer and she has put me forward for another endoscopy and changed my PPIs.
