PentelEnerGel Plus, 0.7mm tip, black ink, 1 blister card with 2 pens

My son was very pleased with the product. The pens arrived on exactly the day they said they would. Product was well packaged and exactly as described on the website. I would have no hesitation in buying from this company again. My daughter also used it and we now ordered 10 more of this type of pen.

They are just pens so I am not sure what I can say other than they do not scratch the paper, leave ink blotches when stopping or writing slowly. They are great and I really like the ergonomics of them.

This pen was almost perfect for me, but unfortunately the rubberised grip actually made it harder for me to hold as my fingers slipped around on it and gave me a writers callus, I don’t have sweaty hands but I do have a firm grip. However, for someone with a lighter grip this pen would be perfect. It writes beautifully and smoothly, has a crisp line and the ink looks great. If I could get a grip that went over the grip area I would because I love everything else about this pen but just hate the grip.

Great pen. Quick drying ink. I will go for the thinner nib again next time. It still improved my handwriting beyond my own expectations and the pen was comfortable to hold.

Over the years I’ve been lucky enough to own several fairly exotic pens, both fountain and roller ball, but not one of them has written better than a Pentel Energel roller pen. The pen itself is lighter than a traditional fountain pen, but it's nicely balanced and the nib has exactly the right amount of drag to allow you to control your writing easily and avoid the tip slithering across a smooth sheet of paper. And there are no blots, no blobs, no leaky nibs, and no scratchy dry ones either.Nib width is very much a matter of purpose and personal preference. Personally, I find the 0.7mm point (with BLACK ink) ideal for both everyday use and the occasional letter. Crossword enthusiasts might prefer the thinner 0.5mm point, which allows you to write finer, smaller letters, but which (IMHO) isn’t quite so good at writing long letters.

Ordered these as I had been using one I found in a drawer at my parents house. Easy to hold, it writes clearly with no effort or blurring and makes even my writing look quite presentable. I'm not usually fussy about pens as I have taught for many years and know that pens come and go in a school environment but these ones I look after as I like them so much. Worth paying that little extra for.
