Keep Calm and Colour Unicorns (Huck & Pucker Colouring Books)

I was a little disappointed with the size (in between A4 and A5) when I first opened the envelope but then so pleasantly surprised by the quality of drawings and the unexpected inclusion of quotes to do with colour on each page.I bought this for my german speaking god-daughter who I think will really enjoy colouring in the intricate pictures of unicorns but also the quotes are short enough for her mum to translate them, which further enriches the experience of the book.Will definitely be ordering again for others as it is not twee or babyish in drawings or quotes; you really are getting 2 books in (very cheap) one.

Brilliant book!!! Purchased this as a gift for a 7 year old and she loved it!! So much so that her Mum immediately sent a thank you text after she opened it saying she started colouring immediately and sent a picture, which I’ll include. Loads and loads of pages full of fun,girly magical pictures. This is the ‘grown up’ type colouring book with images full of little tiny shapes. Completely challenges their imagination of colour combinations! Oh and a bonus... the back of the book says £4.99 on it..... lol so looks like you spent more..... is that wrong?!?!?

...but, maybe one to share.Measuring around 15.5 cm wide x 20.5 cm long, this is a smaller format colouring-in book, which is tightly bound with some quite intricate content at times, so may not be suitable for the younger unicorn fan, IMO.The colourful card cover opens to 94 pages of colouring-in opportunities, set in double page spread format with relevant quotes directly on the pictures, from a variety of people including Édouard Manet, Benjamin Franklin, Coco Channel & Cicero.With no borders to the pages, the pictures spill off the edges and over the spine area, and it is tricky, if not impossible, to flatten to apply colour to, depending on the type of picture & where you are in the book, in my experience.On the plus side, it is a handy size to pop in a bag and has good quality white paper, with clear outlines for the best part. Smaller book than I expected (because I never look at product dimensions when I buy and like to be surprised)... beautiful motifs throughout, some more complex for the small stature of the book but if you like unicorns and mandalas and “zentangle” style, this is a lovely buy. Filled with uplifting quotes and mantras as well, it’s a nice keepsake or gift idea. I like it for when I’m on-the-go as with a small pack of fineliners, it’s perfectly travel sized. Now I just need time to get started...

Purchased this for my youngest daughter after she kept trying to use her sisters in one. It’s a lovely little colouring book which is a perfect theme for what many little girls like! Plenty of pages and I personally love the size, it’s not too small but not as big as A4 so makes it quite easy to carry around or fit in a bag!

Nice idea and very suitable for those who love unicorns... However, the paper is fairly thin and porous so if you are colouring with felt pens, much of the colour goes through. A pity.

For the price of this it’s an absolute bargain! Great detailed pages for adults but fun enough for kids to still colour in, the pages are thick high quality paper so don’t bleed through or tear. I’ve really enjoyed colouring in the first few pages so far and it’s very therapeutic.

Smaller than expected. I assumed it would be the size of a normal coloring book but it's small. I didn't look at the dimensions in the description - my bad! Also the design is crimped into the binding in the center so an image that goes across both pages doesn't line up (if that makes sense.) I still like this coloring book though and love the unicorns so it still gets a 4!

Regalo molto apprezzato. Indicato sia per un pubblico adulto, che può gustarsi le frasi e godersi qualche minuto con un hobby da bambini svuota cervello, sia per i bambini stessi. Always be yourself, unless you can be an unicorn... be an unicorn :)

Buen libro para colorear. Los dibujos están muy elaborados y llevan su tiempo colorear cada uno.Como dicen en la descripción, en todos los dibujos hay unicornios, lo que da bastante juego para utilizar muchos colores y hacer volar tu imaginación. Al final, resulta muy relajante, que es para lo que se quiere el libro.He de avisar que el tamaño es más pequeño de lo que parece. Debe de ser del tamaño de un A5. Aunque a algunos esto les parece un incoveniento, a mi me parece que tiene un tamaño muy práctico para llevar a donde se quiera y ponerse a colorear. Además, al ser más pequeño, resulta más laborioso pintarlo.Desde luego, es un libro que vale la pena.

Ganz tolles, super süß illustriertes Ausmalbuch für Groß und Klein. Bin mittlerweile auch auf dem Einhorntrip und habe mir dieses Buch gekauft. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist echt top. Satte 96 Seiten gefüllt mit Einhörnern, Regenbogen und liebevoll ausgewählten Sprüchen (auf englisch). Allerdings drückt sich die Farbe von Filzstiften bzw Finelinern etwas durch wenn man zu oft über eine Stelle malt. Ansonsten ein sehr schönes Buch, auch super zum Verschenken!
