It's a decent wide-angle lens for iPhone 6/7 models
The exterior build quality of this lens is good, it feels hard enough that I don't have to worry about it if I drop it from the knee-high with the lens cap on. The quality of the lens is okay, you'll get abberations (i.e. some blurness) from the edges of the lens since you're putting another glass in front of your iPhone lens, so don't expect full clarity otherwise you'll be disappointed. YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT THE LENS IS FLUSHED ON THE IPHONE LENS, otherwise you'll get some vignetting and blurness on the edges. I own an OtterBox rugged case and it's a fiddle to get this lens properly fixed on the iPhone camera lens, unless I take the phone out of the case then it's all good.Overall, it's an okay wide-angle lens to take with. I've been using this more than my GoPro and I'm not too concern about some minor blurness or vignetting on the edges. In the end of the day I'm taking photos using an iPhone so I'm not expecting a great deal of DSLR-like or micro 4/3-like quality on my images. I use this just for fun.I don't know why the seller wrote "4K HD wide-angle camera lens" as the product headline. This lens WILL NOT GIVE YOU 4K OR HD QUALITY since you're adding another glass in front of the iPhone camera, thus the quality is decreased.

This actually works pretty well. I’ve tried cheaper versions before that have been rubbish, but this isn’t bad. No black circles, as advertised! It’s no replacement for a decent camera with a proper lense, but it’s a good cheap hack. I just wanted to be able to take some decent wide-angle pictures on my iPhone of my house to advertise it for sale, so didn’t want to buy a good quality camera and special lens just for one use. This did the job pretty well considering. I mean they’re not of professional quality, but perfectly adequate.

It works well, but can affect the picture quality
It does improve the angle a lot, and really helps older phones that don't have a wide lens camera, but it had some trouble with the colours on the edges, mainly darkening the sky.

Superb quality lens
I will keep this short for now until i have completely tested it. I have tried various brands over the last 12 months and have never been totally happy with them. I am a keen mountaineer and travel alot, I used to use a Canon DSLR body with a varied collection of Canon and Sigma lens but that gear is heavy 12kg+, awkward to be constantly carry about with me and i these days i do alot more mountain biking on the mountains so not really the best scenario. I have been a loyal Samsung Galaxy mobile phone owner since the first S2 came out and realised the potential of them for taking good pics. I now use an S5 and S7edge and have some amazing pics using them. I have had my phones out in beautiful blue sky sunny days and in -20 arctic blizzard conditions and they have never failed me yet. I bought the Apexel 5 lens kit a few weeks back and was very surprised at both the build quality which surpases all othe brands i have tried and the pic quality which is truly superb so i decided to buy this lens mainly due to the CPL filter. The packaging is good, i have taken a few pics to test it out briefly and i can only say the clarity and quality of the pics are stunning. At present i would definately recommend Apexel lens for good value for money (the ones i bought are a vit pricecy compared to others but they are worth it as good lens do not come cheap. 1 of my canon telephoto lens cost me £700). I can not saybif Apexel cheaper lens are as good as this one but i am very very happy with this lens from them.

Works on Selfie camera, filter isn't that useful
I bought it mainly to use with selfie camera. Posted pics with the Amazon face are from selfie camera held roughly arm's length from the face (easier to use than selfie stick when out on vacation and more view of background landmark) - has eyelet for lanyard to attach it to my phone. Easy to centre as you can view your phone camera through the lens - see pic. Expect some loss in quality as it's wider angle with same amount of pixels. I don't own a phone without a main wide angle camera. Does not do well if the main camera is 108MP and portrudes a lot. The dedicated wide on my phone does a better job. Lens is an absolute fingerprint magnet. Not sure how useful the filter is. May have glare if sun is very bright and you're facing it at an angle.

Degrades image quality
I purchased this for my P20 pro to get wider shots and although the lens achieves this without vignetting the quality of the image is reduced. I'm currently editing a review I've done for my YouTube channel where I captured three scenes with and without this lens attached. The first image was a landscape, the image had very high noise levels and a huge loss of detail compared to an image taken without the lens. The second was a waterfall in which the result had a number of odd soft areas. Finally I captured a night time cityscape, as expected with any wide angle there was a lot of distortion but the deal breaker for me was an odd looking zoom effect on the city lights. The lens itself feels high quality but sadly it doesn't perform well at all.

Essential kit to sell your home
This really does make your phone camera into a wide angle lens.Superb for taking interior room shots for estate agent websites.Rooms can be captured in all their glory. It SLIGHTLY unsharpens the image but it is easily corrected in any simple software package. Fiddle with it once clipped on til blurriness goes away and you have no dark vignetting. It might take a bit of rotation/adjustment.Expect a small bit of flaring on brighter parts of image. But nothing badly distracting.Remember you haven't just bought a Canon R5, you've just spent a tenner.Great build quality, lovely case.
