The good: this is one of the very few bluetooth headsets in which the eartips fits into the ear canal, providing a good passive seal against background noises. Even top-of-the-range headsets like the Plantronics 5200 don't have this, making it very hard to be able to make out what the other party is saying if you're in an environment with background noise.So noise cancelled for the caller: good.What is very poor is the noise cancellation for the other party; indoors it's OK, but oudoors the microphone picks out all kinds of background noises, especially road traffic, whereas other headsets are able to block most of that out. I tested it calling my voicemail number with the Nenrent S580 and other headsets, while walking along a busy road with some traffic, then listening to the quality of the recording. With the Nenrent, you can make out the voice but there was a lot of background noise. With the Plantronics 500, Jabra Talk 45 and Mpow EM19 most of the background noise was cancelled and the audio quality was much much better. Plantronics and Jabra cost much more, but the Mpow is in the same price range.It's a real shame because the fit is great, unlike other around-the-ear units I can fit this one with my right hand only, and the microphone is close to the mouth. Oh, and it's also OK with glasses. Shame, real shame.If Nenrent manage to come out with a noise-cancelling version like MPOW, this would become one of my favourite headsets of all time. I believe MPOW licence Qualcom's CVC algorithm to cancel background noise.

Took a punt given lots of poor reviews, and sadly they were correct.It's a really nicely made little unit, neat metal and is comfortable to put on. However clearly the electronics inside doesn't match - while it connected quickly, whenever there was audio coming out of the headphone, there was a 'whine' that was just infuriating and distracting, and rendered this useless for video conferencing. Pity, as it is well made - I imagine that a good example of this will give good service. Returned.

My 2 criticisms of this are: 1, it is only able to be used on the right ear. It would have been good if it were able to be used on either ear. 2, I am familiar with the material used to grip around the ear thank to when Logitech used to do earpieces. The only reason I stopped with them was because after a while the material shears completely leaving you with a working but unusable earpiece.That said, the earpiece is light, efficient, cuts noise and the people I speak with can hear me quite well. Overall I would buy the unit again at that price, even if I don't expect the piece that goes around the ear to last very long.

This earpiece is NOT loud enough especially while walking outside in the wind and with traffic noise.I can also say that all of the other features are very good. It fits well to my ear, it’s loud enough to the person that you are speaking to, it also has voice prompting redial and reads the incoming number. It’s easy to use and sets up and connects quickly. Really good, but it’s NOT LOUD ENOUGH, especially compared to the older Sony 608, which I have now ordered.

It's almost perfect but for one thing. The volume for taking calls is way too low. So much so if I'm outside I can't hear anything and when in the car I have to have the window closed and the radio off.I make and receive some 100+ calls a day and yet from fully charged 100% after 6 hours it's still on 100% though 3/4 hours more will drop to 70% totally outstanding so much so quite often I don't need to charge till day after.

This was one of the best I'd ever tried, however when tuning for the best listening setting, when I turned the volume down I just can't get it to come up to a higher level to hear the conversation, AND THE STUPID SILLY VOICE that tells you "power on power off sounds too stupid to listen to, it's awful.

Not pleased. Had two devices in the last yeah first one just packed up , now my second device would only last 3 hours on full charge , now it just won't charge ,so not happy

Wow this is great looks crap on your ears and sometimes sticks out. So why the 5 stars becouse the battry life lasts 4 ever the sound is just as good as what u would pay for a 100 pound bluetooth and it does the job brilliant for the price its god sent i ise it for home when i am on phone... i will buy another and keep its safe so happy with this its a joy to have and i can go on for ever but end off the day .why the good review becouse i have a bluetooth which i paid 50pounds thats amazing and flawless just end off its life line so i got this as a back up. And this side by side to the £50 one i have is just as good as that and then makes u wander why we pay so much 4 expensive ones when u can buy 4 off theres to 1 off them
