MOOERCAli-MK3 Micro Preamp (M008)

Ok so I've been playing Mesa mark series amps for 25 or so years and presently record and perform with a bluguitar iridium amp1 that also features a mesa mark style channel. Mesa mark lead tones are by far my favorite distortion sound (not fizzy like dual recs/soldanos/5150s). I play metal, hardcore and in my free time I like to play classic rock. This little mooer 008 guy fits the bill amazingly. I have a bluguitar iridium amp1 and it's also has a mark series distortion and this sounds the same as that, EXCEPT with the amp1 I have to add a 10 band eq to boost the lowest frequencies to get the thump I want for metal and hardcore and honestly this little mooer mark 3 preamp has the thumpy throaty bass signal built right in. This thing gets loud as hell but when youre not playing is quiet as a whisper and really doesn't need a boost to get it to scream like my amp1 does. Get this little guy for $90, get any solid state power amp 100 watts or more, a tuner and a 2x12 and your hanging with any other live act at a fraction of the cost and no back breaking weights. Just have good speakers (I used creambacks exclusively because the ubiquitous v30s are too fizzy for me).

The clean tone for this micro preamp is really good. The dirty tone is a little too saturated and solid state for my taste. The clean tone adds a nice texture in front of a good guitar amp.

I really like the clean and the dirty. Still kind need a tube screamer or green mile for solos.

Very close to a real Mark amp. Plug it into a valve power amp And you cab’t tell the difference

O som é excelente, podia ter um pouco mais de ganho, precisa de um boost para tocar metal.

Il lead channel è bellissimo, suona in modo strepitoso, come nelle demo che si sentono in rete. Quello pulito invece quasi non si sente, almeno 10db in meno, e non è davvero pulito, è una specie di crunch smorto di pessima qualità. I primi giorni funzionava bene, poi ha iniziato a sentirsi male a volte, bastava spegnerlo e ricollegare l'alimentazione perché riprendesse ad andare. Ora è definitvamente così, e penso di restituirlo. A malincuore, perché i suoni distorti sono pazzeschi.EDIT: 11/2019Colpevolmente avevo lasciato questa brutta recensione, spero di rimediare. Il difetto segnalato era dovuto a quell'esemplare, che mi è stato regolarmente sostituito.Come da titolo, questo pedalino è semplicemente stupendo. Viene quasi da chiedersi come sia possibile che un suono simile venga fuori da una scatolina delle dimensioni di un pacchetto di sigarette ... altro che Tube screamer usato come boost, questo lo uso all'inizio della catena effetti, appena dopo il wah, poi dritti nel finale. Suona come un vero ampli, e senza il bisogno di avere un mesa boogie da 50W col volume a 8.

Ottimo prodotto. Costruzione ottima e ottimo suono: il collegamento diretto ad un mixer o ad una scheda audio (attivata la simulazione di cassa) è sicuramente la sua peculiarità.Grazie anche ai sensibilissimi controlli di equalizzazione e del gain acquisisce una ampia versatilità ancor di più se collegato in serie ad altri pedalini.un micro amplificatore portatile in pratica!
