Finding this belt was like finding a needle in a haystack! For those of us with tummies, the wide belts (4+ inches, which are plentiful) are too uncomfortable. This one is just 3 inches wide. The Serola belt is also 3 inches wide but the corners are square & stiff so they poke into the skin. This one has rounded corners. The velcro is very tight. There is one problem that I will have to fix. The loop side of the velcro is plastic & is hard to adjust so that it is completely covered by fabric. I'm going to remove it, trim it down & sew it back on. Because the grip is so strong, I'm not worried about it slipping.

The quality and longevity of this particular belt is questionable after using it for ONE month!!! Comparing this OTC 2885 Traochanter Belt with my old one which I bought locally in 1997 from my Chiropractor which has been worn steadily these past 20 years, the Velcro connections on this new one are already failing! Not only are the 'stitched hems' coming apart where the Velcro is sewn onto the fabric ends, but the Velcro material itself (end grips) on this brand new belt are already failing to remain in place without detaching! Initially the adhesion grip was great but already it's not sticking to the areas I only began using this past month.I'm not a usual complainer and the $35. wasn't breaking my wallet, yet I believe the quality for this particular belt for an average slim-sized man is something that other potential wearer's and buyers need to be aware of!
