The flame channel between burners disintegrated anfter about 20 uses of the grill. I keep it covered and dry - they just oxidized into dust from the heat. The spark ignition works and throws a nice arc, but it takes so long to light that there is a small explosion. So I light it with a stick match. It’s fine if I want to replace it every year. I don’t.

I bought this to renew my 9 year old grill that still looks new on the outside. I was really excited about having basically a new grill...that is until I started the install. First off, the burner tube are 1/4" longer than the originals. The originals are 14.5" long and these are 14.75" long. It was a struggle to get them inserted but I managed. After installing the new igniter electrode, it was time to test the install. It sparked when I pushed the button, but the burner would not light. I was able to light it with a cigarette lighter. I changed the electrode twice. Still nothing. I removed the new ignition burner and replaced it with one of my old burners and it fired right up as it always has. Upon lighting the other five burners, I notice a delay before they ignite, which I have never had before.I didn't want to undo all of that work to remove the new parts and return them, so I will use them until I can order the right burners. The heat shields fit perfectly. While the grill looks great, the functionality suffers.

Manufacturer didn’t have this replacement part available for our grill, so I took a chance that this one would actually work for us. (So many non-model specific replacements say that it works for a certain model, and they actually don’t.) This worked perfectly for our CharBroil grill. I just wish there were some sort of instructions included. Great quality and sturdy - not concerned that this will rust out in a couple years. Glad we took the chance on this purchase!

My CharBroil advantage 6 burner had seen better days. All the tubes had rusted out over the years. I tossed this rebuild kit in and it's like I've got a brand new grill.

This kit worked well for my Char Broil grill. I knocked off a star because of a couple minor issues. There are no instructions, but it's not hard to figure out on your own. The burner tubes were a bit longer than the originals in my grill. At first I didn't think they would fit, but with a little effort I got them in there. The cables attached to the ignitors are all the same length. The original ones are different lengths depending on how far away the burner is. It made for an extra step to tidy things up. No big deal especially for a kit designed for multiple grills. Lastly, my grill has 8 hairpin clips that hold the burner tubes. The kit only included four. I was able to reuse some of the old ones. Again, not a huge deal and still a great value for the money.
