Staring at Koa all day, while magical, does get a bit old sometimes. Hawaiian Mango wood is one of my favorite other woods...and we just so happen to have some amazing pieces floating around the shop. We certainly have to thank Mother Nature for these remarkable wooden phone cases. Sure we've been busy sanding, polishing and cutting, but She's spent decades growing these awesome mango trees. The result of our combined efforts is a one of a kind, handmade wooden case that literally brings a bit of the islands home to you. Slim case design (all the protection, none of the bulk) Sustainably Harvested Mango from Hawaii (no need to feel guilty here) Drop tested and approved (we're like drunken sailors around the shop) Protection for all sides (including a front lip to protect the screen when laid flat) made in Hawaii (yes that's still considered made in the USA) naturally finished so the oils from your hands over time seal in the wood. We are proud to say our wood iPhone cases are carried in over 50 stores throughout the Hawaiian Islands. We use only the most beautiful (and expensive) curly mango wood which I personally sand, etch, cut and assemble. The cases are a combination of hard plastic backer and soft TPU sides which will bounce when dropped...we don't recommend testing that although we're pretty sure you'll find out eventually. All this work to create a one of a kind reminder of the islands.
