Cat Litter Refills Bag Compatible with Your Standard and Plus Genie Litter Disposal Refill Cartridge (Not Include Cartidge,10 Pack)

Having a litter genie has been a game changer, but the refills are way too expensive. I purchased these, and they're just as good and useful as the regular ones. You do need to keep the original bag cartridge and fit the refills inside. It's a pain to install the first time, but it gets easier each time you need to do it. I definitely plan to buy again once I run out, but the good thing is that I know these will last me a long while.

It was a sigfinicant struggle to try to stuff the bags into the plastic casing. I was ready to give up, but then I decided to try a different method. I broke the smaller plastic piece out of the outer casing (the one you have to stuff the bag under). Then, just laid the unit in the plastic holder. I wasn't sure if they'd come out a mess, but it worked perfectly. I've already gone through one set of bags and just inserted the 2nd one. It's working great. No issues with tears yet like other have mentioned, but I only used one set of bags.

Definitely less quality than litter genie bags, they're a bit stretchy and have broken easier. But with how much cheaper they are I have just stopped trying to fill them as full as I can and change them just a bit more often. They're totally worth it. I don't smell anything good but also still don't notice any more poop smells coming from the litter genie when using these bags

Using this with my LitterGenie and like them. They do tear somewhat easily, but never had it where the litter goes. Always near where I tie knots so not a huge deal. Like that they come in multi packs.

Not the same quality as the Litter Genie brand ones. Granted, the brand name ones are wayyyyyy overpriced now. This is more affordable but the stench makes it necessary to take straight to the outdoor garbage. I'm trying a differnt brand next.

Product is cumbersome to replace

Bought these replacements instead of the name brand and am actually impressed. The bags themselves smell good and they hold the order pretty well

The price of the genuine Litter Genie refills has increased so much that they’re 5x the cost of these bags. That said, I will pay the higher price without hesitation. The box that I received was completely covered in packing tape but all 10 bags were inside. I was prepared with an empty tray and the bag was easy to insert. I had no trouble pulling out the roll from the tray. Right away though, my short fingernails easily broke through the bag twice. They’re supposed to be 7 layers thick, but 7 layers of what? When the bag was full my fingertip (not the nail) broke the bag and I wasn’t even poking on it. The bag also smelled far worse than the contents. It smelled like concentrated urine. I couldn’t keep it in the house. It doesn’t block the odor from the cat’s urine and feces, but the product itself still smells worse in my opinion. The Litter Genie contraption does a good job of hiding the smell while the bag is in it but once you remove it, the funk is overwhelming. Due to the economics I thought I might save the rest for emergencies but it wasn’t worth the inconvenience. I had to return them. If cost is your only consideration, you may want to try this but I can’t recommend this product.
