Work great
Probably not exactly what they are designed for, but exactly what I need and ordered them for. Allows me to hold acrylic ceiling panel to the ceiling itself long enough for the adhesive to set to hold permanently. And yes this was accomplished alone. They are that easy to adjust and set.

I wish the swivel heads were secured with a bolt and lock nut-the press rivet gets sloppy then the head flops all over the place which isn’t a problem for the bottom skid but most definitely on the top 1 Otherwise pretty handy-just ordered a pair of the shorter version-I’ll grind off rivetand install bolt and nut myself-easy fix

We do LOTS of DIY/reno projects and I'm surprised we've never bought a set of these! They are super handy when working on framing, decking, etc. I found them easy to use and well-designed, right out of the box.

The pole looked good except when you try to insert the rod into either top or bottom nuts, no QC on this item.

Good Set - Lock and Unlock Easily - Heavy Duty Materials
I'll begin with the missing star in the rating. The only thing I can see that should have been included is a case to carry and/or store the items in the set. The jack-stands are excellent for holding items in a vertical position as a third hand, allowing you to secure your work. I had the chance to use similar products a few years back and have been looking for a set of my own since. The jacking motion holds firmly and the grips at the top and bottom have enough grip to hold your work (cabinet, etc.) in place easily. This is a very nice set and I'll be using a simple soft case to store them.

NO INSTRUCTIONS!!!!
This feels like something from Ikea or a butterick pattern. It has absolutely no instructions with it at all. I'm going to try to reach out to the company and see if they'll talk me through this if not I'm going to send mine back!
