These are lovely valances. We have new windows, and the old curtains in the kitchen shredded when I tried to wash them. So I needed something new in the kitchen, and bought three more to have all the windows match (although the three older valances came through the laundry just fine).There were a lot of prints to choose from, so I was able to find one that used colors like the old curtains had.I hung all of them on tension rods because I didn't want to put holes into the new window molding. The valances fit three different-sized windows just fine with a little more or less gathering on the rod. The little pull-up straps with the snap worked much better than another pair I had bought (for another new window) which had tie straps (difficult to make the gathering even across the window). It also meant that I didn't fall off the ladder tying a bow.Even so, the draping seemed a little uneven, so I played with the gathering at the top, pushing more fabric out to the side, and that did the trick.The fabric is robust. Not silky, but not rough. It says you can machine wash and dry, and I might want to iron them if they wrinkle in the dryer, but I don't wash the curtains as regularly as I wash clothes, so it might be a while before I can report on how they come through the wash. I hung these right out of the package, and I think the folds are hanging themselves out, so they won't look odd.I'm pleased with how these turned out, and I'll post a photo to the review if I get a chance.

Great quality and pretty!

The quality of material was good not flimsy. Colors of pattern bright, liked the attached tie ups of valance. This was perfect size for my standard size bathroom window.

I am so surprised by these curtains. The fabric is so nice! It's heavy enough that I could hang them as soon as taking them out of the package! (That is the only review needed by most people! :-))As soon as I received them in the mail, I opened them with my plan to get the ready to be hung. For me, who hates to iron, that could mean anything from hanging them in the bathroom during everyone's shower time or putting them in the dryer with a wet rage or, if all that fails, ordering a steamer from Amazon.Thankfully, the fabric is the perfect weight to hold its shape even in shipping. It isn't heavy per se, but it is thick enough that it didn't come out looking like a discarded napkin.Additionally, the colors are beautiful. I got the gray birds as I had just redone my kitchen with more neutral colors, and this was the exact look I was going for ~ a bit of whimsy without being overly done.I really appreciate it when I get items that give me confidence I have gotten a great deal for the money that I invested, and these valances fit the bill on every point.

This is my favorite set of curtains I've ever had. Looks exactly like the picture and the ties are easy to make cute like in the photos. You can also leave it not tied up.

The sturdy fabric has a nice weight to it. The background is a clean white. The ties are sewn into the curtains. These are beautifully crafted curtains!!!!
