This telescope is fit-to-use for a beginner. Firsts of all, it is very easy to install. It took like 5 mins to put everything together. And also, it is very light. There are couple different zoom objective lens for difference distance. It took a little bit time for me to figure out how to focus but it totally worth the efforts. There is extra small telescope on the top as well with grid on the lens to help you locate the objects you will observing. I had tried to observe a mountain’s in about thousand meters distance from me to explore. It is a pretty good distance.

I purchased this telescope for my 6 year old daughter who has started to get interested in stargazing. I wanted something that would be a step above regular binoculars, but wouldn't take up a ton of space or cost a fortune. This checked all the boxes. It arrived quickly, works as described, and seems to be holding up pretty well. Overall, a good purchase.

My two youngest kids absolutely love this telescope. It's been cloudy so we haven't been able to look at the moon and planets at night yet but it sure is fun looking up in the mountains and down in the valleys. It works great sitting on top of a table. It is easy to use and fun for sure!
