The juicer is fantastic, especially for the price. I looked around for weeks trying to read between the lines of all of the reviews (some positive, some nit-picky) to decide whether to purchase the Sana 848. I finally hit the purchase button and have not regretted it since. I have been using the machine every week for 3 months. Some reviewers say it takes a long time to clean. I do not find this to be true. The rubber gaskets of course need to be removed and rinsed (otherwise it would leak - remember, it IS a juicer), but the entire cleaning process takes less than 7 minutes for me, which includes using the brush on the blade component. The finished product has a little sediment (more for some veggies, like butternut squash) but it's easy to strain this once using a fine mesh strainer (see OXO good grips 6-inch) if you prefer no sediment at all. It's important to follow the guidelines for using any juicer to get best performance (follow softer ingredients like lemon with harder veggies like raw sweet potato or celery so that the harder items push the softer items through).

When I first used this juicer, it was the best I’ve ever had for lower budget. Pulp was dry, the unit was easy to clean. However, the juicer stopped working after two uses. I’ve tried troubleshooting but it still did not power on. Highly disappointed.

With a 15 Year Warranty on everything including parts, why would you want to buy anyone else's juicer?! Love, love this juicer. It makes the best sorbet in minutes as well as great juicers. It cleans up fast...the fastest I have seen in juicers. In a couple of minutes less than 3, you are done cleaning!

The media could not be loaded.  Okay, have to honest, I’m coming off of using a centrifugal juicer and have never used a slow masticating juicer before. I got this because I hated cleaning my centrifugal juicer, hated it, so much of a drag I would often opt not to juice. I also didn’t like how big it was. I saw this Sana and thought it would be a great idea because Sana is such a big name in juicers and the claims of easy cleanup. This is indeed super easy to clean and I love that. It is also smaller than my old juicer and I love that too. For a juicer I thought it was relatively quiet as well. It is an attractive looking unit if that is something you need/want, so just a bonus really. My daughter really digs the sorbet function and I have now lost freezer space to bags of frozen fruit. I think for me it boils down to that I prefer how a centrifugal juicer juices. Not that this would be everyone’s experience, but this arrived in time for picking our apples and last year we still had the centrifugal and put up like 8 quarts of cider. I found that I did not like how a slow masticating juicer works on apples. I thought it would be closer to a press, but I just did not get good yield and there was a lot of foam. This Sana is great for a lot of things but not for apples in my opinion. So, if you are not apple heavy in your juicing, if you are used to slow masticating versus centrifugal, this is an awesome unit. Sana also is very good with customer service. The vacuum canister I received was missing the small rubber thing that goes in the center of the lid rendering it useless and Sana responded to my inquiry right away and sent out the missing piece immediately. Impressive company.

I am so happy I decided to purchased this juicer. It extracts juice easily and the pulp comes out dry. I mostly use it for beets, apples, celery and parsley. Its a quiet machine and its perfect for small spaces.

I upgraded to the Sana 727, so this review applies to that one! Incredible quality, finely machined, absolutely beautiful. Muti speeds, super low oxidation. Driest pulp than the Nama J2, also deeper, brighter color. I use a scraper on the small filter, takes about 15 seconds to scrape the pulp off. This juicer rinses clean but I do a quick brushing. Takes just a couple minutes to clean. I got the 727 over the Nama because driest pulp and brightest color important for us.

This was working well until yesterday morning. Believe the bad reviews, i don’t recommend this piece of garbage.

For many years I used de standard centrifugal juice e extractor but the Sana 848 impressed me, it's great. It really extracts more juice using the same amount of fruits, I would say about 25 percent more. The pulp comes out dry. The level of noise is very low. I like it!!

Tried kale, ginger, carrot, beetroot, banana, apple, orange. Small oranges (clementine) may stick to the beginning of the augur if it's the last ingredient, but it causes no issues, just a bit of waste.As advertised, cleaning is easy as rinsing all the parts under the faucet with mild brushing under the augur (always necessary) and a few other places (may not be necessary). Actually takes less than 1-2 minutes. So good.Input opening is not large (about 5cm x 5cm) but there's a wide hopper (though not deep), so as long as the ingredients are cut down sufficiently, pouring them into the top of the juicer is mostly hassle-free.Included accessories were nice.Happy enough first impression to keep using this vs competitors like Nama J2.
