Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School - Despair Arc [Blu-ray]

The premise of the show that students have to kill someone to survive is really scary but the show just kept sucking me in because the characters were so interesting to watch. Even though the plotline was horrible the mystery made it really drew me in!

The main detail that fans will notice about this anime retelling of the awesome murder mystery Danganronpa series is that it differs in many areas from the videogame its based on. New story beats and some new introductions to fresh faces might at first scare ppl away, but stick with it as the new characters all justify their inclusion and a few of the missing pieces of the puzzle fall into place. While this doesn't solve or explain all the mysterious conundrums and unexplainable occurrences that transpire, it has enough charm and easter eggs scattered throughout that any huge fans of the games will have to appreciate and recognize. An amazing series.

It's a great anime and really interesting to watch. However, dont be fooled into thinking this has both the despair and hope arcs. It only has despair in both blue ray and DVD format. A better choice is to get the blue ray only version to get a digital code of the anime but the blue ray and DVD pack has a different illustration featured when the outer layer is removed.

Movie is awesome you have to watch the games first to understand what happens

Fantastic series that provides more screentime for the Danganronpa 2 characters and it provides a really good backstory for the things that happened in the first game(that being said, I definitely advise playing the first 2 games in the series before watching this)

Having played all but one of the games ( another episode) and watched all three series of the anime the animation and danganronpa 3 despair and future arc I have to say this is one of my favourite animes

No sirven los subtítulos en Inglés, lo peor es que si pones el audio en Japonés aparecen, pero si lo pones en inglés desaparecen, así que debes o tolerar las voces horribles en japonés y entender todo o entender 3/4 con el audio en inglés por las voces raras de animé que algunos tienen que hace que no se les entienda todo. Cambiaron las voces de todo el elenco original, principalmente monokuma :’( ahora tiene una voz horrible de payaso que nada que ver con la original, se pierde mucho el “feeling”.

A great explanation to how everything led to Danganronpa 2. It's great to see the best characters in the series all hanging out together. Although it is highly recommended you play the first two games before you even look at this anime.

An absolutely amazing anime. If you played both Danganronpa 1 and 2, this is a must watch.
