LARMOR for Nikon D850 Camera LCD Screen Protector, from Tempered Glass Foil, Self-Adhesive, GGS 4th Generation - with Top Screen Protector

I've been through half a dozen screen protectors for my D850, and this is the best. (LARMOR's "D500" screen protector is identical to this item, so buy whichever one is cheaper. I bought the "D500" protector.)* Includes a top LCD protector.* The top LCD protector is glass (not a paper-thin piece of polyethylene).* The top LCD protector fit is excellent.* The main protector fit is decent, and the best you're going to get (other protectors have much more margin around the edges).* The main protector's edges are rounded (i.e. chamfered). Not essential, but nice, and less likely to catch on something.

This is the product I bought for my D7000, years ago. It worked very well on that camera, and for that reason I decided to to with the same brand for my new D850.I did not remove the screen cover (plastic) from the D850 prior to installing this screen protector, but found that it refused to seal/adhere in the lower-left corner. No matter how I pressed, and rolled pressure from the center out, there was no seal in that corner, in an area about the size of a nickel, which made that area darker than the rest of the screen. I peeled the cover off and repositioned it about five times, each with the same result, before I turned the protector 180-degrees and applied it. It seemed to adhere better in that orientation, but within a few hours, the corner was coming away from the screen again (although in a much smaller area).I'll leave it on for now, but I'm going to try a different product.

For the life of me, I could not apply this thing without getting air bubbles. I repeatedly wiped down the screen with a zeiss wipe, let it dry, and reapplied, but to no end, I could not get a smooth, air-bubble free application. Eventually, because I need it on regardless, I gave up and now my D850 sits with a back screen with a bunch of bubbles distracting me as I'm reviewing images, but I'll deal with it. I bought a different brand screen protector for my Sony a73 at the same time and that went on with no bubbles the first try, so I don't know what's wrong here.

I have purchased Larmor screen protectors for both my D800 and, later, D810. Both worked fine, so it was an easy decision to pay a little more and get a Larmor for my D850.The first Larmor sent me was for a Canon and I simply didn't catch that they sent the wrong product until I tried appling it and found it was too small for the screen. After a lot of head scratching as to why the protector was so far off, I spotted the little sticker on the box saying that it fit a Canon 5D. Sent that one back and reordered the product again.This time I got the correct screen protector and applied it exactly as the instructions specified. I could not get the bubble out. I took it off, cleaned the screen, dried it and reapplied the product. That was a mistake: the bubbles got worse. I tried again, more bubbles and gave up. It's going back. I purchased the LARMOR for Nikon D850 Camera LCD Screen Protector (by GGS) after reading several articles on whether a screen protector is needed at all and reviews of different brands. What swayed my decision was David Busch's recommendation in his D850 Guide to Digital SLR Photography. Over the couple of months I've owned the camera, the protector has remained bubble-free and easy to clean, without loss of screen brightness or sensitivity to touch. I haven't tested its protective qualities yet and hope I never have to. But I'm fairly confident it will do the job.

PERFECT! I was super nervous about this, but it worked perfect. I got it on flawless the first time. Just read the directions. Also the top LCD protector looks identical to the main glass so it seems like double the protection. LCD touch screen is equally as sensitive. I wish this company made a screen protector for my phone!!

I've used LARMOR protectors for all my Nikon cameras and wouldn't bother with anything else. They go on effortlessly, with no bubbles and offer useful protection. They don't interfere with the operation of the camera in any way and are hardly visible. Good investment for a landscape photographer.

Simply the glass doesn’t stick to the screen of the camera, too many bubbles. Unusable. Eventually, I went for Afunta (cheaper than this) and their glass sticked perfectly to the screen.

The best glass screen protector available for the D850. Touchscreen is unaffected and it fits well. Far better than the film versions and offers proper protection. Highly recommended.

La photo n'est pas représentative du produit. Il n'y a pas de guide rouge comme indiqué sur la photo mais une plaque opaque du coup pour caler la protection c'est quasiment impossible. Il manque également un chiffon antistatique, pour ce prix je ne recommande pas du tout ce produit.

Protège parfaitement les écrans de mon D850, taille adaptée, facile à installer. N'est pas salissant et ne se raye pas facilement (apres quelques mois d'utilisation c'est impeccable).
