I crochet, using wool. Why did I wait decades!!! to buy a wool blanket? I cannot say, but I can say this was the BEST purchase I have ever made, period.Good points:1. Local California Business2. Merino, a wool I am familiar with and can in fact wash by hand (I do it all the time)3. Size: stated size was full/twin. Most sellers say that and it is not true: this is VERY true. Fit my twin from top to bottom, with 6 inches of blanket draping on 3 of the sides.4. Does it work? Heck yes! In 5 minutes my freezing cold feet were warm and I was asleep.5. Added bonus: no shockes from electric blankets. (laughs)Would I recommend this: YES. It is a great value for the money. It is lovely to look at (I purchased the cream and antique teal). It is WARM; it captures your own body heat and keeps it there! Wool blankets have been around for centuries and there's a reason for that. Value for money spent. You'll probably give your blanket to your kids or grandkids.

My wife wanted a throw blanket for Christmas, and I liked the idea of a real wool blanket. She absolutely loves this one! The color, stitching around the edges, and overall quality are top notch. It's warm and comfy, but breathable and not hot, it's soft and plenty large (about 5'6"x 7'6"). Upon first use the blanket was a little scratchy/itchy but it softens up after a few days. It's my wife's go-to blanket for wrapping up on the couch with.

I love the pattern on this blanket. This is my first wool blanket so I went with a cheaper one and I love it! It really is the perfect size for a throw. We have a full size bed and it's not really large enough for 2 people. The lanolin smell is not bad at all, I hardly notice it. I'm hoping my cat will want to snuggle more. That's honestly why I got this. Also, we don't have a working heater in our house, so I got this blanket to keep me extra toasty while I sleep, and it does a fine job.

We're simply NOT comforter or duvet people. First thing we do in hotels is find out if they have any blankets. And we haven't had an easy time finding an affordable, attractive, well-made, and comfortable blanket for home use So we thank you guys at the Farmhouse. Good job!
