As a former massage therapist who is currently experiencing sciatic nerve pain in my leg and low back I can tell you this is an incredibly useful tool. It may seem a little on the expensive side for what it is, but I assure you if you need to target the piriformis muscle in the glutes a tool like this it will be well worth it.I recommend pairing it with a tennis ball or massage ball to warm up the glute/hip area first. Then you can use the glute blade to target very specific spots. It is important that once you find a trigger point that you hold it for 30-90 seconds to release it.This is a powerful tool. But it is for very specific targeting. I’m glad I purchased it. After two weeks of intense pain and seeing a very good massage therapist twice, this is what finally released the insane amount of tension I was experiencing.

I used it in between every rib and got into so many knots and muscle clusters but then when I try to move again, I had inflamed every muscle in my body. I overdid it. I returned it because of the level of pain I was in. I might get the softer one. I never thought anything would be hard enough for me and I have to say this met my challenge. It’s my own fault for overdoing it. It definitely works. I’m a little bit confused as to whether to get the softer one or the larger one. I’ve heard people say the larger one is not grippy at all. I’m not sure on the softness of it so I’m a little bit confused. I’ll have to read the reviews again, but it definitely packs a punch. I just overdid it. My own fault.

Might be better options for larger muscle groups but this is the best thing I’ve found to stretch out tight connectors/tendons/ligaments.The 3 different corners are great for different pressures with body weight. If you need to ease into it, you can start out using it on a softer surface like a bed/couch/cushioned chair then move on to a harder surface like the floor for greater intensity.This sorted problems faster than primary doc (muscle relaxants), chiropractor, dry needling, different modalities of massage, and physical therapy.Couldn’t be happier with it

I never do reviews, BUT I honestly tell everyone about this little miracle! SERIOUSLY best money spent! And I use it for everything! Went on a hike and sore today, just placed under my calves as I lay here and watch TV and the pain/tightness is just going away. My glutes were in so much pain, I had two deep tissue massages scheduled to help and she couldn’t make much progress. 20 min of laying on this glute blade and next day went back and she was amazed at the huge difference in my glutes! I also use on knots in my back. So much better than using my S bar! I’m telling you, you will not regret this little magical glute blade! Best money spent!

This product didn’t come with any instructions. You would think the makers would provide a one page manual so the users could receive the benefits of how to maximize the use of this product.

Those that say it doesn’t work do not have piriformis problems or are not using it right. I got the black one and its density is perfect. This thing works and it works better than anything else I’ve found. I wish I had found it sooner. I almost did not buy it but I am very glad I did.
