It’s awful. The reviews that say it’s terrible are telling the truth. It smells SO BAD. It’s given me the worst headaches and even taking Advil & sleep, I‘ll wake up w/a persistent headache. I sprayed on my cell phone to disinfect & the horrible smell wouldn’t go away, I tried cleaning it with their own dish soap & subsequently Lysol but the smell still lingered. I was going to use it to disinfectant my garbage since it’s a terrible smell but it does t dissipate & I just can’t take this smell get headaches no matter how far away I’ve sprayed it. I should’ve listened to the bad reviews :( it’s so bad & god awful. I love their baby wipes & dish detergent & the design & function of the disinfectant spray can design is really nice but DONT BUY THIS STUFF. I eucalyptus for my mom before I got this citrus & she says it smells ok but she’ll never say a bad word about anything I buy her so Don’t take the chance.

Made the mistake of buying this product and now having the biggest nightmare of a time returning it. Since it’s through a 3rd party seller the process is complicated. If I knew how awful this stuff smelled I would have NEVER purchased it to begin. With the pandemic going on as you know it’s been very hard to find Lysol anywhere which is why I got this stuff out of desperation. But no it’s not the same. If you don’t mind lingering migraines then go for it!!!!

I’ve used Seventh Generation for several years now and I love their products and this disinfectant spray is no exception. I can feel good about using it on my son’s bedding and his toys. It smells fresh too! Nothing over powering. I highly recommend this product!

I like the fact that there's no harsh chemicals in this. The scent is an acceptable smell. It'll never be my favorite, but it ain't bad. (Citrus version) Overall happy with the product and will buy again.

It smells like Thyme- not citrus, straight thyme. Not sure why they even say there is a citrus element to it. As long as you are prepared for that, you are good. Much better smell than the fake and perfumed sprays out there.I did not feel as though I'd get a migraine from the smell. Perhaps if you super-spray your house and stand right in the center of it all until it dries you could get a headache but anything would do that if you super-saturated an area.The product works and I'm grateful to have it.
