These fit my Breville Pro Express well and seem to filter the water well. I was disconcerted at first because the filters were all covered in charcoal dust upon opening the package. In the pic I compare them to the filter that came with my Breville machine, which is clean and has a thicker outer layer. I feel like I really have to wash these new ones off well and run quite a bit of water through them before using so I don’t get charcoal in my espresso. I don’t think they’re the same quality as the Breville ones, but I think they filter the water and are a decent buy for the cost.

Great value filters, but not quite up to the standard of the stock Breville ones. They fit my Breville Barista Pro just fine.Definitely soak and rinse before use, these let out a fair amount of carbon initially - but after running through the rinse, they're just fine and doesn't affect the taste.Compared to the stock Breville filter, they are a little less rigid - so you'll need to be careful when inserting them and ensuring the cap for the filter doesn't compress it down (letting water bypass the filter).The value is hard to beat, just be mindful of the little caveats - but worth it to me instead of paying a premium for the Breville product!
