So thin. Horrible doesn't even fit the model it's for the same bed I made sure. It's still horrible

Mattress does not fit the extension kit.
We purchased the Stokke Sleepi Bed, along with the mattress from the store. When we finally built the extension we came to find out that the mattress is 48 inches long, while the crib itself is 55 inches long. There is a 7 inch difference between the frame and the mattress. How can you sell the frame and mattress as a bundle when they are two different sizes?

DOES NOT FIT STOKKE CRIB
We purchased the Stokke Sleepi Mini crib for our son. As he grew, we needed to increase the size of his crib, so we bought the expansion kit to lengthen his crib. We also bought this breathable mattress to put in his crib, but it does not fit. The regular mattress that coincides with the expansion is 48 inches long and this mattress is 53 inches. We had to cut this mattress in order for it to fit the new size of the crib.
