[Upgraded] Doeatoow Geiger Counter Nuclear Radiation Detector Dosimeter, Portable Handheld Beta Gamma X-ray Radiation Monitor with Backlight LCD Display, Battery Powered (0.08uSv – 50mSv)

The quality of this detector made of high quality and feel very sturdy. It's right fit for my jacket pockets. It's able to detect multiple types of radiations. In my science class, I obtained a few samples of radioactive ore and the detector was able to pick up the source. The LCD display is very easy and clear to read. There's alarm feature where it will go off if the sensor detect there are more than normal dose of radiation coming from the direction I am walking. It is very accurate and easy to set up initially.

Because of my work, I need this detector. I like the function that it can automatically store the measured data, so I don't have to always take a pen to record, which is very troublesome and gives me a headache. Two measurement modes, you can choose the one you like to measure, excellent product!

Instruction manual could have been more expansive.

I have only used this for one week but seem to work good I do have a source to test it with and seems highly accurate. I am not a scientist or work place safety, but I worked with electronics for more than 30 years

Very cool accurate unit!

It works well, very long battery life, USB-C chargable, measuring range and accuracy for radiation protection technical applications absolutely sufficient.

The media could not be loaded.  There are icons show up at main screen. No need color display since the display does not shows many details.  A black and white display can do the job. Unfortunately, the color screen must shut off frequently and the battery life can be shortened significantly.  If the battery dies, the unit dies because you cannot find the replacement battery at marketplaces. Also, the color display washes out at outdoor sunlight. The design is not thoughtful and optimized. I need to press key many times to do a function. The UI user interface looks like a student project.

The media could not be loaded.  The product is not sensitive and precise. Can’t detect radiation lower than 0.08uSv/h and also cannot detect known radioactive source.The LCD screen keeps shutting off.The battery is not replaceable. Single charge last less than 20 hours. The description says 20 days.
