Great Sand for Hamsters
We bought this for our hamster after trying different brands. We appreciated the very low dust and ease of cleaning. There was not a potent smell either after our hamster used the sand bath for a potty.I highly recommend Niteangel products. There appears to be great care for the small animal world and it is nice to trust a company with all our needs.

Mix it with the desert or other sand
It can be dust when you first open it but mix half and half of sand and the potty and works amazing. Dose not over smell of litter and make your little one happy as a clam. I change it weekly and clean it every other day and it work well. My little boy use it and only it for all potty needs. When I change it he come out to sniff it and roll around then go potty. Worth time and money. Happy little hamster 🐹

Dustier than I'd expected, but good sand just the same
I really love my other NiteAngel products, as do JoJo Hamstar and Cæsar Astuff'dus, but this is the first product I've not been impressed with. I usually use Reptisand's Desert Sand for my hamsters, but since my one hamster has chronic sinus problems, I thought I'd give this a try. As I poured it into his sandbath, the dust plumed and I was concerned. He seems to be using it alright for now, but I don't know if I'll be buying it again for him, just because he's very sensitive because of sinus issues. My Dwarf may like it though.**Update**I've revised my initial review a bit and I want to add that in use, it doesn't seem as bad as I'd thought. I was made aware that Niteangel actually has other enriching substrate alternatives that may better fit the sensitivities my hamster, and my dwarf hamster does seem to like this quite a bit. So I still wouldn't make this a first choice if you have a sensitive hamster, but it's good sand, that notwithstanding.

Not for dwarf hamsters
I should've read reviews that mentioned dwarf hamsters. The beads of "sand " are too big for them and my dwarf hamster didn't use it at all. Waste of money

Great potty sand
I use this for our Syrian hamster in her litter box. I've tried others but this one is good as it's easy to see where she went pee and then can easily scoop it out to clean and keep the unused sand, as it clumps and then dries and hardens. She may also use it for bathing but I'm happy at least that the rest of her cage stays clean from pee.

Adequate
My gerbil loves to roll around in this when I change it, but it is very dusty, which is not great for their lungs.

Hamster instantly knew how to use the bathroom
I bought this litter with the “cloud bathroom” for my hamster to give him a cleaner environment. I placed it in the corner of his cage while he slept, and at his waking time I heard burrowing. He took to it instantly and seems much happier since the addition!
