BPSNew Zealand 'Second Skin' Soft and Ultra Stretch Water Socks Unisex - For Beach Volleyball, Swim Fins, Water Activities

I wear a 9-9.5 so I bought a M high cut. The Pink and purple flora are super cute and fit perfectly when I bought them.Worked great on the sand and protected my feet but after wearing them in the ocean a few times they stretched way out and were floppy on my feet. The Lycra didn't bounce back. I couldn't wear them any more. The Lycra also snagged because with the Velcro.

This was my first time purchasing and testing fin socks. I needed them for a week's trip of open water swimming several miles per day. First, they were they too small, despite having tried medium and large, and despite feet shrinking a bit in the cold water. Though my foot fits in the sock, the neoprene protection on the toes didn't cover my toes fully, and I expected it to at least go to where the ball of my foot begins. The rest of the sock is very thin, like a thin windbreaker or thick pantyhose. I tried them with my fins and I immediately felt the pressure from the strap, which definitely would have caused painful rubbing after a day or two. I returned them and instead purchased full neoprene socks on Amazon that were just perfect but about twice the price; those full neoprene ones are totally worthwhile and I have no doubt they'll be much more durable and they also kept my feet warmer. I wouldn't trust these to even walk on the beach without looking down, as even a delicate sharp object would likely cause pain.These socks came with a note from the seller indicating that if I wasn't happy, they would refund me and I could keep the socks as long as I didn't leave negative feedback. No wonder there are so many positive reviews.

The sole of the "sock" is a slightly thicker material similar to a mechanics glove, a cheap one. It is oddly shaped (see photo) and really narrow. I ordered a small according to the size chart and the width of the sole was sooo wrong. Even a small was real tight on the toes but long in the heal, not sure how that's possible. The rest of the "sock" is made of a cheap rash guard type material and the ankle Velcro is very poorly stitched. How these things have 4 -5 star reviews is beyond me. Maybe the fact they're so cheap...

I love these for my intended purpose. I wear them like socks inside my warm water booties for scuba diving. They reduced the chafing that I can sometimes get from my fin straps and just made my feet feel more snug and comfortable. The velcro strap is way too big, but it wasn't an issue for my use. I did 26 consecutive dives with them in Cozumel and they still look brand new.

The toebox was very strange. It was long and narrow, kind of like someone added a few extra inches on. I wear a US 8 or 8.5, bought the size Small, and by no means have an abnormally wide foot, and the sock fit okay except for the toe. There is this lovely paper included about how to contact the owner of “surf and snow warehouse” for anything, but the directions cannot be followed, since the seller of these is BPS, and when you click on BPS, there’s no way to contact them. I even did an Amazon search for Surf and Snow Warehouse, but everything that came up was BPS, and again, no way to contact them. Just view listings. It’s clear in the letter that both companies are one, but geez, if you are really so open to us contacting you, put your email on the insert!

These are fantastic. I play sand volleyball year-round in Kentucky, where you never know what the weather will be like. I was skeptical at first, but they really do work. They are great for cold or wet sand to keep your feet warm. They also help keep your feet from burning on hot sand. Sand will still get inside of them, but I never expected them to keep sand off my feet, just to protect them from heat/cold.

Gave me blisters on my toes where the seam runs across the top! I kept for a backup pair, might be good for walking on beach but inside my fins they rub

Very narrow and almost as pointed and uncomfortable as a pair of ladies dress shoes. The seam on the black material where it attaches to the patterned material is very tight and unforgiving. It feels like it is cutting into my foot (normal width). The Velcro top sticks to and tears at the patterned fabric. The grip of the bottoms are the best thing about these socks. I'm trying to break them in at home before I get in the water with them. They are very thin and fit inside my full foot fins for diving, so that's a plus. I will have to see if the grip is good enough to climb up the boat ladder safely. That's the main reason I chose these socks and didn't return them when I saw how narrow they are. Hoping for the best, but I'm concerned about durability.
