This blind was great value and arrived promptly. The front is a natural coloured canvas-like material. the back is white plastic which looks a bit tacky but since that's not going to be seen it doesn't really matter. It is very practical also because it will be damp resistant.Although this was the smallest blind that I could find it was still way too big for the window that I needed to cover, so I needed to cut it down to size. The material is very easy to sew with a sewing machine, does not fray and is very strong and sturdy. The weighted bar at the bottom is made of heavy duty plastic rather than metal so I was able to cut it easily with a fine tooth hacksaw to make it narrow enough to fit my space.The installation is very easy with the exception of one crucial thing that is not mentioned in the instructions. If you are mounting it on a wall with a ceiling or shelf or something above it, you will need to allow a good bit of extra space (the diameter of the rolled up blind and a bit more) above the mounting brackets and below the ceiling\shelf because the roll of the blind slots into one side then you have to hold it over the other bracket and slide it down which you can't do if there's a ceiling\shelf immediately above it.

Arrived opened and not for the first time by the look of it, marks on brackets, and roller itself, obviously been returned before and sent out again. Now have the seller retuning it to me, poor all round from this company.

These blinds are a great cost friendly solution to other blinds in standard sizes that need to be cut down.The bottom of the blind could be better weighted as it is a bit flimsy when rolling up and down. The only other issue is the plastic bead blind cord is too long for our window but you need a little bead enclosure to shorten it and we had to buy this separately. I think one should be included.

Good quality as blinds go even though I don't understand why these things are so relatively pricey but that's another story. But I needed these pronto prior to the heatwave and boy am I glad I did. These really helped keep the room cool and block the afternoon sun and daytime reflection. Easy to install but do get measurements right as if brackets installed too tight, it will make the rolling out/in sticky. Fixings to window frame are metal which is a good sign. Do measure and purchase to fit, you wouldn't want to cut these and ruin them.

I bought these to reduce the brightness in my bedroom during the early hours of summer mornings.They do a decent job at blocking a lot of light considering they cannot possible cover 100% of the window surface (there is always a small gap on both sides). But since I was already aware of that before my purchase, I'd give them the 5 stars
