This item was a birthday gift and was so disappointed. Birthday girl opened it at the lights didn't work let along the music. I would find something else or buy from another vendor.

Q: How can you wash the animals??

You can't really wash it as it contains batteries. You would have to spot clean it with a cloth.

Q: What is the actually size?

It was and my little guy loves it.
