Excellent monitor
Excellent if expensive monitor. Chose this over the oled version for higher hdr scene brightness and no issue with screen burn. Responsive, sharp clear pic with good brightness especially in hdr. Works great for sim racing. Once setup not really noticed any issues especially with the Latest firmware. It does continually make a very quiet noise as the plastic moves as it warms. Not an issue but I have heard of others mention it as well. You have to be in a quiet room to hear it. The mini led back light is the star of the show giving extreme contrast ratio, when set-up right. The earlier firmware sometimes messed this up but much better on later firmwares. Even viewing test scenes filmed for oled (LG oled 4k on YouTube) this monitor shines on, if you sit in front it's great black background with bright highlights but not overdone. Yes if you go off axis you get the halo effect but on axis which is how it will be used this is not an issue.Slightly strange how much of the function of the monitor gets locked out when setting to hdr etc but I guess this is part of the hdr requirements to keep the transmission faithful.Highly recommend, not compared to much personally but have experience with oled tvs and the reviews of this tend to be good and I am not aware of any of the issue raised anywhere else. And as I used to work as a product engineer in Toshiba it was my field for a long time.

Good screen.
Couldn’t get it working to start with. Very stressful. Once we asked and got it working. Good screen, picture and sound. Thank you.

This products has a lot of good and bad
This monitor is good for gaming:- 4K at 240 or 120hz- contrasty image looking good in both HDR and SDRThis monitor is not very suitable for work/productivity:- lacklustre brightness in SDR- HDR brightness is not very high either (don't believe in HDR 2000 they use in marketing as it's not a reference to the standard but their own assessment which they call 'quantum' HDR)- very poor color uniformity especially on the vertical axis - when you sit right in front of it you'll see three distinct zones - the one in the center is perfect, the one to the top or bottom is washed out pretty noticeably (this one is again not visible in gaming / video, but very prominent in any other form of work)- the screen is very reflective even in the evening when there's not much lights in the room - the light glares back at you- the matte film on this display has this weird distorty effect when you look at it, like a smudged glass sort of thing (you need to look at it in person)- scan lines are clearly visible in 240hz modeMy particular unit exhibited air bubbles on the screen film (which is not removable) so had to be returned.Overall is only suitable for gaming if you're willing to agree to the shortcomings of the VA panel described above. Quality control might be an issue so buy only where you can easily return/exchange.

Great monitor to pair with flagship hardware
Excellent monitor in terms of quality and variability, the option to have 240hz with 4k resolution to put the rtx 40 series to work is great. One thing to note however is the appearance of black squares and bars that show up once every few hours, which can be inconvenient but doesn't affect the performance at all and isn't too noticeable as it doesn't happen too often. Overall a fantastic spec monitor that can do it all but with minor flaws.

This is gigantic and well worth it
The picture quality is amazing and it’s integration with Windows 11 works seamlessly- no need for the Samsung software.

Great HDR and imagine quality
So far after 3 month it’s been a great investment. After hearing stories of Samsungs product quality I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the monitor.Great colours and blacks without the risk of burn in you get with OLEDs.If your not going OLED this is as close as you can get to the true blacks

Such an amazing monitor it made my tv look a bit sad.
Super bright, massive HDR range, good contrast, great for gaming or a bit of netflix.
