Vest has multiple pockets. It is super light weight but very strong material. Able to add several different fishing appliances to the pockets so you don't have to go back and forth between the shore and walking in the middle of the river. It can be used for other things besides fishing like hiking for caring snacks, water, etc. I would totally buy this again in the future when this vest wares out.

I didn't need it for fly fishing rather for fishing from a kayak. This IS a life saver and space saver. I was able to put all necessary fishing lures, baits, and hooks in the different compartments perfectly. Cell phone in one of the other pockets and the foam inside the vest was not at all restrictive like it would be in a regular life jacket. I was able to easily adjust it to be snug but not uncomfortable. Definitely recommend. If you are a poor swimmer do not rely on this like a regular life jacket, but if anything happens while fishing and you fall into the water, it is better to have something like this than nothing at all.

I'm a lady who is 5'6 and 150 lbs. The pictures aren't the best but incase other women are looking to buy this vest you can see how it fits. It fits pretty okay if you tighten all the straps all the way and take out the floatation blocks (I really don't think they would do much but I haven't taken it in the water yet. I like that its adjustable so you can wear it with layers. I gave it a 4 star because for $38 it serves its purpose which is to put all your gear in all the pockets. Although, you can tell its from China in the fact that I have a headache from the chemicals they used on it before packaging it so having it sit next to me wasn't the best. I have it outside airing out until I use it to go fishing. The main zipper is also a little chinsy and doesn't glide the smoothest. Over all though I think it serves its purpose for the price.

A word of caution before the review…I was shipped a very similar looking version of this vest but from the wrong company. That version lacked the floatation inserts. Amazon handled the exchange with minimal hassle and I quickly had the right vest.If I had to sum the vest up in one word, the word is storage. There is a proper pocket or attachment point for everything. Small fly boxes, landing net, flat packed leaders, tippet spools, all the colors of safety glasses, hat, sleeves, gloves, indicators, zingers with forceps/scissors/nippers, flotant, knife, keys, ID, phone, wading staff, water bottle, CCW, and lunch, all fit in particular places and I think I still have 4 pockets and 6 tie down points left over. Before this vest, I was using an oversized hip pack that shared time hiking and that always required time to rummage around to find the item I needed and then dry everything out when I got home. With this vest, I only need to remove the non-fishing items and hang in in the corner. The mesh pockets dry fast and non-mesh pockets have riveted drains.I accidentally tested the flotation on my first outing when I thought I was stepping up from a thigh deep spot of gravel to a calf deep boulder but it turned out to be a brightly lit sand hole! I was able to pull my knees up, spin around, float down to a shallow spot, and regain my footing. I’d say it was instant gratification if it weren’t for the belly flop in the river so I’ll go with “instant justification” instead!

Almost didnt buy since some reviews stated this life jacket did not float. You have to order it WITH FOAM if you want it to float! I have used mine twice, and tested it thoroughly and this is an outstanding product, very much worth the money especially since it is hard to find any life vests in stores these days. This one rides up high, as it should to provide room while sitting in a kayak. I love all the many, many pockets (almost too many pockets, but you can never have too many). I am sure I could take the foam out and use as a regular fishing vest but I do not plan to.Only recommendation to the manufacturer would be to provide at least 1 pocket with a plastic liner, or other mod to make that pocket waterproof, but the easy fix is to waterproof any valuables on my own.Excellent product, thank you!

Fits well, not too bulky. Love all the pockets. Only wish there was a bit more play with the straps. Fits good for me standing. But sitting down I have to adjust it a bit more.

Inexpensive although it appears well made. Plenty of pockets to store equipment. The flotation inserts are somewhat small, not sure if it would provide sufficient buoyancy although I haven't tested it yet for that. I do like that it's compact and not bulky.

Very nice looking PFD/fishing vest lots of pockets all different sizes all with zippers tons of storage. You also have the option of removing the flotation pads making it just a comfortable vest for fishing great for kayaking because its pretty much a tackle box in life vest. Highly recommend.

Solo que no es para alguien que pese más de 75 kilos…por qué se unde.

Me gustó el diseño y que tiene bolsas por todos lados. Sin embargo los materiales de las cremalleras de las bolsas son metálicas (latón) y no soportan el salitre, se dañan muy fácilmente, lástima.
