Captivating and Descriptive ! Words so well written that as you read them you are constantly transported to those years , some centuries ago and I just seemed to blend in some where in the back ground with the characters of each story !So So Thought provoking ! The Manthan gets you thinking and contemplating and wondering what would be your reactions or actions in similar situations and also how you handle that similarities in your life in this present moment !How these ancient legends are so true even today amazes me and hope this generation can see the connections !I did not just read this book I practically savoured it , taking my own time to finish it and I can truly say that this book has already touched my soul and I would be hoping to follow at least some of the principles, valour’s , beliefs ideologies , values of the characters . I can definitely say it will add value to my remaining days in this universe !

Author did a great job compiling various historical stories and a mythological story of different personalities from different eras. Author took effort to add a bibliography that lists the sources used in compiling the stories to prove the authenticity. Author with his skillful touch of elaborating some scenes in great detail to make it a delightful read while balancing the summarization of the essence of the story in an artful manner. Also as a value add, author adds a section of his analysis of the events to further intrigue the reader.

Just after watching The Man Who Knew Infinity some 5 years back - I had a thought in my mind to know more about such timeless legends. A little I did read from the Twitter tweets of True Indology and a few others. Then I saw this book and bought it.It took me just 3 days to complete the reading of this 350+ pages book. Usually, I read only 50 pages a day but this book hooks you up because of the amazing stories and what they have to offer to us. With proper emotional connection and intellectual learning - this book is a perfect blend for everyone - from startup founders to age-old business leaders, to housewives, to youngsters in schools/college...& I would strongly recommend this book to everyone. Not just because it is highly relatable but also because -the stories of these legends are worth reading, remembering, and sharing with maximum people. The book has description of Indian culture, history which can inspire us to be in the spirit of India. Sufficient time is given to write the book and I have completed reading it 3 times already. Thank you to the writer. I hope we see it’s next versions in future.
