Easy to set up and use, versatile. I have cooked fresh asparagus in it, fresh broccoli, both came out perfect. This is wonderful for pressure steaming vegetables. If you like them slightly crisp like you get in a Chinese restaurant this is perfect for that. Whole green beans are cooked to perfection. I've made soup in it, meats, even reheated leftovers don't dry out if you use the steamer inserts. I didn't think I would use it as much as I do since I have an electric pressure cooker. Very easy to clean, spare parts are available if needed including gaskets and rubber pressure valves. It came with a cookbook that is good for the bare basics.

I am not only appalled but furious. I paid $50.10 for a microwave pressure cooker. I paid US dollars and ordered from a US company. The pressure cooker in itself is fine, but the COOK BOOK IS FROM "INDIA" WITH "INDIAN RECIPIES AND INDIAN INGREDIENTS"!!!!!!!! I AM 'NOT' from INDIA so how the heck am I supposed to make any of these recipes???????? I ordered "USA" items, not some foreign stuff we don't understand nor know what it is. MY MONEY WAS WASTED!!!!!!!!! AND I'm STILL FURIOUS. The ad did not specify "FOR INDIAN FOLKS, ONLY". APPALLED!!!!!!!!!!!

It is certainly very convenient and I have now made a number of tasty stews and soups. However it is not a "fast" as I expected and learning cooking times is an adventure with often several stops and starts. However, all in all a very good purchase.

Works fine. I have used it to cook Daal (lentils) and rice. Easily cleans in the dishwasher. I dont even pre-rinse.

This is a very good microwave pressure cooker. Does the cooking in half the time, without the constant checking and stirring.I purchased this after seeing a similar product on QVC. [ The QVC product is the Prepology Microwave Cooker ] .They show various recipes, even stews, chili and slow roast etc...Although, the instruction booklet with this one just comes with Indian recipes, I am sure those recipes are doable, since its the same product. I will update my review once I try recipes like the ones mentioned in the Prepology one. But, all in all, this is a very good product . The only addition I would have liked is if Amazon also sells or provides an additional rubber gasket for the lid. They are hard to find separately and sometimes, prove to be expensive as a single item.
