Very reactive if it spots bad particles in the air
This thing reacts very swiftly whenever it detects bad air quality (whether from the outside, or from the cooking etc). I also noticed it makes the air overall slightly cooler, which is an extra on top of having a cleaner air

Does it even do anything?
I've had particularly bad allergies this season. Whereas in years past I'd just live with them, it has been so bad this year I decided I needed to try getting the allergens out of the air I was breathing. So I bought this. When I read that it would automatically detect the air quality and adjust itself most appropriately, I was sure that once I turned it on it would tell me the air quality was terrible and start working hard to clean the air.Instead, it indicated that the air quality was great, ran at its lowest setting, and eventually entered eco-mode, turning itself off completely for half of the time.Okay, so it basically did nothing for me in my home office where I spend most of the day. Well, maybe if I put it in my bedroom then my allergies wouldn't be so bad when I woke up in the morning? Nope. Same behavior as in my office. No difference in my allergies. For a final test, I put it in the toddler's room where the diaper pail was a constant source of bad odors. In every case, the device indicated that the air quality was great, ran at the lowest settings, and entered eco-mode shortly thereafter. There was no noticeable difference in the air quality in any of the rooms I tried it in. My allergies did not improve. The smell did not go away or noticeably decrease. It was not apparent that the machine was doing anything useful at all.As far as I'm concerned, this thing did nothing except circulate the air a bit, which I can accomplish with a $5 fan.

If you smoke, this thing will constantly shame you.
Apologies for the blurry pic.Any people who are like "Does this thing even work!?" obviously don't have a smoker in the house. Yes. It's practically silent most of the time until I decide to have myself a smoke. Then the thing turns red, kicks into high gear and does an impression of a jet engine. And I feel like it's trying to shame me. Yes, machine, I am aware smoking is bad for me. Yelling at me louder for it isn't going to make me quit instantly!!Other than that... there's really no hassle. Plug it in and turn it on. Everything's automatic, and you can adjust everything manually if you prefer.Oh yeah, don't forget to open the bottom (just twists out/in) and take the plastic off of the filter before you start it. WHOOPS.The replacement filters are pretty spendy... 50-60, I believe. (Feel free to double-check). It says they should last about a year... but considering it disapproves of my lifestyle, we'll see about that...UPDATE, about a week or so later: So after a day or two... even the first day. When I came home from work, it wasn't on. I wasn't home smoking up the place, so I figured it went into low-power mode. It said it would do that. As time went on, I noticed it wasn't kicking on. And I'd been smoking, this thing should be screaming at me by now. What's wrong? Plugged in, yes. I can feel air coming out very lightly. I could turn it on and off again, then it would kick on and start going red for a few minutes... then turn off before it even got to yellow. What gives?I had it in auto mode, cuz that seemed like the thing to do. And after some research, I discovered it goes into night mode when it senses low/no lights. Smart tech, you see! But my friends, it wasn't smart enough to realize it now lives with a guy who sits in a dark room all day and smokes like a chimney! Didn't see that one coming, did you smarty pants air purifier!?The solution I could figure was to just set the fan manually. Medium seems like a reasonable choice so it can actually sort of keep up with me, and also not drown out my PC. Turn on the ion... set the light dimmer so you can see the buttons in the dark. And boom.Knocks a point or two off for quality of life and perhaps value, since now it's just doing what my old one did that cost about a quarter as much. But with a thicker filter? Can't really tell you how well it's actually cleaning the air, since apparently it's been in power saving mode a majority of the time I've had it.

Great purifier at a great price
This air purifier works great in my home office! It instantly took effect, removing any traces of pet odor and circulated the air. It runs quietly so doesn't interrupt my work. It was easy to setup and use out of the box.

Cleaner air, more peace of mind!
This air purifier is such a great investment. It is easy to use, gives me status updates on the quality of the air and particles around me, and auto adjusts lighting and speed based on the current air quality. Not to mention proven to remove viruses - LOVE IT!

Great air purifier
This air purifier works amazingly well. I have a rabbit, and am allergic to the hay (on top of other seasonal allergies) so usually when I wake up in the morning I usually feel congested. On top of that, it has also helped reduce the odor from the rabbit as well.Very easy to use, I leave mine on auto and it works when it needs to. Have not owned it long enough to change the filter out, but maintenance seems pretty easy looking at the video. It seems pretty quiet, I've been working from home and I hardly notice it throughout the day. The high speed its audible, but its more of white noise.Design wise, it does not take up a lot of space which is a huge plus, and the lights on it aren't super bright which on some of my other electronics, have been annoying in the past.All-in-all, definitely a great purchase for me.
