Fun and Encouraging
We have long loved the Osmo products starting with my oldest who is now actually 11 and have been using it since then with my youngest, who just turned seven. This reading program is fantastic. I think the key thing for people to note is that you need a quiet environment as it’s going to work with the sound of your child’s voice. My son has been in speech therapy for quite a while and we’re now just able to use program. I don’t think it would have been ableto understand the words with the pronunciation and enunciation that he had previously. The character in it - Oliver - is the cutest dog, and we all love watching him bring to life the stories as we read the pages aloud together.

Really good books
I bought these for my daughter age 5 and she loves the story lines and adventures you go on. She is however beyond these books but is still having fun with them. I look forward to grabbing the next set of books.

Makes learning fun
My daughter had little interest in practicing reading. I saw this in a store so I did a little reading and found it on Amazon. It’s easy to set up and does make reading fun. The books are interactive - you follow along with a wand and it can hear your child reading and pronouncing words and has lots of encouragement. It also gives parents tips to helping their child learn. Overall, it is a great gift for early learners and kiddos just starting school.

Difficult to Use! Don’t recommend
The idea of this game is great, but it is very difficult to navigate especially for a child. It lags, gives poor directions, often doest register the wand selecting the answer, and is overall frustrating. The parent basically has to do each step so then what is the point?Would not recommend

Daughter loves it.
My 5 year is loving this kit. She is learning to read and the books, wand and interactive screen really get her attention. She loves to practice reading now.

Love but not practical
I love the learning on these and my daughter asks to use it. The issue is you cannot use this with a case so we have had some spills with our 4 year old with no case. I will say that these are also hard for new readers, they need to be able to read basic books by themselves.

Well Worth The Money
This Osmo Advanced Reading Kit was the perfect gift for my granddaughter. I was delighted to see her having fun while working on reading skills. The reading kit was just as the seller had described and was a worthwhile purchase.

So very angry brought 2 levels as a gift for my daughter for Christmas and it can't be used in Australia! And I can't return it as it's passed the return window!! So angry!! It should be advertised in the description its nothing but a dust collector in Australia!! What a joke.

We seriously love our Osmo and have many other games. BUT THIS ONE IS USELESS. I made the unfortunate choice to purchase this as a present from Santa from my daughter, and it was not a good idea.Firstly, the app which is necessary to go with the books will not work anywhere outside of the US (which begs the questions why they sell it openly on overseas Amazon marketplaces).Secondly, if you are in the US and can get this to work.... NOTE THAT IT IS A PAID APP! And it's a monthly subscription to use it. So if you think you're simply buying a stand alone book with narration for your kids, think again. You'll need to pay many more $$$ to Osmo to actually activate the thing.Finally, it's a lot of money to pay for 4 tiny books, which are no better quality than something like Usborne Readers which you can buy for USD2 each.Buyer beware. We love Osmo, but think this new product (which we were very excited to try) is a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.

App not on Australian App Store
If you live in Australia don’t buy it, the app you need isn’t available on the Australian App Store. Contacted osmo and they have NO release date for Australia yet.

Not usable outside the US
I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased this. This should not be sold outside the US. The app cannot be installed. Such a waste of money!
