Arrived and looked nothing like the one shown on the website. It was cheap and tacky looking as it was the most awful colour Barbie pink - not the pastel pink shown. Bought for my granddaughter who wanted to watch it go round and I noticed it didnt wind up or play for very long at all and then the colours all started to stay the same colour rather than change colour gradually as they had done when we first had it. It was returned. Very, very expensive for the quality you get in return.

I needed a topper for an elaborate carousel-themed cake I was baking for my granddaughter's birthday. I decided to try this musical carousel. I was surprised at how well-built and pretty it was, plus it came in sturdy packaging that was able to transport safely in the checked luggage for the plane I had to take to get to the party locale.It is a bit on the heavy side, so I had to support it with dowels - but that's standard practice for a tiered cake anyway.Not only did this musical toy make the cake look sensational - but now my granddaughter keeps it in her room as a nightlight and for bedtime music.
