First let me say - I have purchased many , many pillows at price ranges from $40 to $200 just to be disappointed time after time. I immediately knew this pillow was different ,however I wasn't getting the support and pain relief I was hoping for . one reviewer mentioned to give it time . I didn't get a sore neck in one night and I'm not going to get rid of it in one night. I've now had this pillow a little over 3 months and it's the absolute best pillow for my neck pain. give it a good 6 weeks to work out the kinks in your neck. I'm a side sleeper and I love it has a arm resting space. before I bought this I would jokingly say" I've been sleeping for 53yrs but suddenly I have no idea where my arms and hand are supposed to go anymore.. This helped solve part of that issue. I will purchase another to keep in the camper and I might purchase another just to keep as a back up because when I like something it seems never to be available when I look for it down the road.

As a back and side sleeper, I was waking up with headaches because the pillows I was trying were not giving me the neck support I needed. This pillow has really helped my sleep.When I took it out of the box and bag, it did have a strong smell. I let it air out for a day and removed the cover (you have to unsnap the center) and washed that. After that, it was fine. I also put it in a protective water resistant cover (because I sometimes go to bed with wet hair) before putting a regular pillowcase on and it still fit despite the odd shape of the pillow.

On the first night I was very tense and could not relax while I waited for my neck to start hurting - but it didn’t and I relaxed. Sleeping was improved a little.On the second night I reread the directions when I woke up feeling uncomfortable and thought I had wasted my money but since I had 100 days to return it, there was nothing to lose.I reread the directions and removed the inner layer which was very easy to do. But I was not convinced because my neck and head still felt uncomfortable. But I was able to sleep pretty comfortably on my back and side. Still I wasn’t a fan.On the third night, I slept surprisingly better with no neck pain and I slept longer without waking up.This is the morning from the fourth night and writing this review so that it might help others means I slept better AGAIN!I like the fact that it keeps my neck in position and gives me support. I was nervous about the “sunken area” in the middle for my head to rest in, but it was surprisingly comfortable especially after I removed the extra layer of support from the middle.It hasn’t been a week yet and I already feel a difference. It’s nice having 100 days to try it out.

I did not like this pillow for myself & was going to return it, but my husband tried it & he loves it! He is a back sleeper & it works great for him. As I sleep on my stomach/side & always put my arm under my pillow it just didn't work for me.

I like that it doesn’t smell bad. No odor at all. It is soft but firm enough for me and my usually aching and/or stiff neck. The pillow has not made any issues worse, but no improvement either, though I wasn’t expecting magic. It’s easier to move around and be flexible than my old tempur pedic pillow. I recommend this pillow. It is a subjective experience but this is not a pricey gamble.

Ok, first of all I got this pillow because of neck/back pain. When I received it and unpackaged it did not have any of the normal synthetic stink that you sometimes get with similar items, and it was exactly as advertised. It didn't fit in the pillow protector I had, but I bought a bigger one and it was fine. Now the most important thing about this was sleeping without pain and although I was skeptical, this pillow really works for me. Would highly recommend to anyone with neck/back pain.

I've been dealing with a lot of neck pain. I had a different type of ergonomic pillow but I was still waking up w neck pain. This pillow did the trick. Since using this pillow I have not dealt w pain. It cradles your neck and head. Wonderful. Highly recommend.
