My landlord and family are just rude. They have my apartment carpeted, but wood floors in theirs and in the floor above us. Their guests stay above us. Needless to say they do whatever they want ie. blast their music walk loudly above us and pretty much dismiss our complaints.We bought these to put on the walls and ceiling for when they are being loud and put on white noise so that they have to hear it and it has reduced a lot of their noise. I think it affects them more than they will ever dare to say because they have gotten quieter.I hope this helps others who have the same struggles.

I tried this little guy out on a lot of different surfaces and hollow containers. A good, dense cardboard box works well. Different size boxes make different tones and bass/treble levels.But... In my home I have old school real wood doors throughout the house. Each door has an upper and lower panel that is thinner than the frame. I popped it in the center of the upper panel of a my bedroom door, and wow! Even at half volume this little thing filled the room. I tried a few different genres of music too. All sound good, but string instruments sound great resonating on the wood. Any guitar or piano stands out, but it all sounds good.I ended up getting a second one for myself once I realized you can pair 2 and get full stereo sound. And man, it works. 2 channel sound from any door in the house, lol. I put one in each of the upper and lower panels of the door of the room I'm in.Got one for my 17yo daughter too, and she loves it.

Works ok under the pillow. It's a little quiet sometimes but you can place the speaker under your cheek to get good clear sound. Not really quiet enough this way if you have someone sleeping next to you. It's not the most comfortable there but not terrible either. Charges quick like most Bluetooth stuff and lasts about 3 hours.

Tried it on a variety of materials, but my phone speaker is louder and has much better sound quality. Not great, but neat idea

I was looking for a highly portable bluetooth speaker that I could slip into my laptop bag and not add much bulk. In this price range, this is pretty much the only option so I have it a shot.It's not quite as thin as the advertising pictures lead you to believe. The conduction mechanism juts out the bottom adding about 1/2" to the thickness. But it's still slimmer than the button/cylinder-type speakers.The biggest letdown was the volume output. At max volume, the sound was never loud or clear enough to hear dialogue and smaller sound details in videos or movies. I tried lots of surfaces - the best were cabinets with thin-panel doors and single pane windows.Yes it's a sub-$50 bluetooth "speaker" so expectations should be low, but I found an alternative that while not quite as slim, is as affordable and outputs MUCH better audio quality without the need to figure out how/where to mount it. I'm only giving it 3 stars because the volume isn't very loud otherwise it's as advertised. Nothing else note worthy.

Worth every penny.....didnt know if it would work and it blew me away with the amount of sound from sumn so small.......battery last about 5 1/2 hrs which was unexpected but not too bad

Small and loud on certain surfaces.....kind of expected to be more robust in loudness but it is a small device anyways
