Small
The packaging is fairly luxurious , the manual is made from thick shiny paper. When you first see it, you think it's smaller than you expected. But it's sturdy enough and has some weight , it doesn't feel cheap whatsoever. I already have a bigger LIFEPo4 battery so I decided to get this Li-ion generator for my small 40W portable solar panel. I simply fixed a DC barrel cable (supplied with my solar panel) from the panel to the DC barrel cable INPUT in the Sinkeu. Maybe you might need an adapter, I didn't. Switch the main ON/OFF button on and a blue light appears together with 2 of 4 percentage full LEDs. The DC out and USB out are now all working. They work with pass through charging. To get the AC working , plug something into the socket and press the AC button down for a few seconds. Everything worked fine. I haven't measured capacity or Watts. I am moderately impressed so far.I was amazed to find that it can power my Stockpot Slow Cooker from AC current but the fan does go on

Fine for phones and light use, wouldnt buy again
I specifically bought this because it was the cheapest power station with a uk plug outlet. It works for light use, such as phones (brilliant for charging multiple phones at once), for christmas lights, bedside table style lights, can charge a laptop. Beyond that its not really capable of running anything off it. I tried plugging in my computer monitors - wouldn't turn them on; the standing light in my living room wouldn't turn on.I was planning on using it if there were power outages because of the energy situation, very glad i haven't had to use it for that as it wouldn't have kept anything but my phone running.I'm also wondering about the quality of the battery, as it seems to drain much faster after it goes through half of the battery; the last two lights (50%, 25%) drain much more quickly than the first two lights. There are much more powerful power station out there, especially in a smaller format with higher mAh capacity, which would be better to go for if you're only going to use it for USB connection. I would say, spend a bit more and get a station with a plug that can power up more things. Depending on your use though, this might be great for you. There's nothing wrong with the actual product (unless the battery storage is funky), so if you only need it to run small things, then this could be for you.

Works, but charge indicators unreliable.
This is a useful, fairly light weight battery with USB out (slow charging) a 12v output, an in vertex for low load like charging a laptop. It is small, and similar to a power bank, but with a handle.Initially I was quite impressed, but while still showing 3 lights the charge started stuttering then failing. So, unfortunately, the 4 charging lights are very unreliable. For occasional use at festivals or camping this may have some purpose. It also might help during power outages. But something larger with more power would be safer.

Back up on a Budget
A quick scan of these devices shows a wide choice with some upper prices of well past a thousand pounds. Mildly alarmed at the possibility of Power cuts, I opted for this cheap product. Won't power anything past 100W but ho hum what can you do? I rotate it between the car, electric cupboard or bedside. My priority was the Router in an outage which this device kept going for 8 hours from fully charged. 3 USB sockets included and a v bright torch, so being portable, an alternative for the car, (cigarette lighter charger also Inc). I paid £60 with a voucher offer and am happy with the buy.In effect a battery encased in moulded plastic moderately robust with a good grip handle. Not heavy but probably not a good idea to drop it..Also, and finally, it is best to keep the battery in good health by fully charging and using till run down, then continual use repeat.

Broke immediately
This was sold to me at a reduced price offer for £89 instead of £119. On receipt I charged it up, then tried it out. The DC output worked fine and then I connected the AC output to a 6 watt, 12v reading light powered through a transformer. The light worked for a short while then just went out. The AC power switch no longer worked, however I could still get the same light to work on the DC socket. I bought this in case of power cuts so it is of very limited use without the AC option. There is nothing in the instructions to explain the failure.I also noticed that the unit is supposed to have a compass in the handle but the one supplied to me did not. I can't think why I would need a compass on something that charges a mobile phone; are there people without a compass on their mobile phone?Amazon have accepted my return but I can only get a refund not a replacement so I wonder if the item was cheap for a reason! I also have to nominate a day for collection when I have to be home for when it is called for. There is no option to take to a collection point. It makes it more irritating but I guess these days I should be happy if I can get a quick, no-quibble refund. All in all a disappointing purchase.Update 14 SeptI waited in all day for the item to be collected but no one came and there was no message to allowing me to amend the collection instruction. Just now I called Amazon Help and they told me that although a collection was scheduled for yesterday I can take the item to the post office myself. I asked why that option was not offered to me when I arranged the return but they don't know why. I asked why the faulty item could not be replaced and they say because the seller is a third party who does not offer replacements on Amazon. They will however send me a £10 gift token for my trouble.
