Good and strong great value for money

General purpose garden rake, leaves and light thatch and moss
With a 28mm dia broom handle, using a spokeshave to make a taper, 6cm long, 25mm dia going down to 20mm. produced a rake. The twines are relatively sturdy. I don't expect the paint covering to last long. A decent rake for £11 all in.

Lawn rake
I bought this as it seemed a good buy. Its quite well made, but a little heavy (good as you dont need to press hard). There is a screw hole in my one, which other buyers have complained about. My only negative point is the fitting for the handle is very small. My handles are 28mm, and this takes a 25mm handle, which tapers sharply. All in all next time I would buy a dearer rake with adjustable tines.
